“I have been coming to freeport bible center for years, this church is full of true believers, no church is perfect if you really want you find something wrong you will, but the truth is in this church you will change, you will receive sound teaching, and transformation. Many churches these days speak false teaching no biblically based, this one does not do that. The pastor Carlos Luis Vargas, is a true man of God. I have gone to many different churches but I have say none are like this one. Do they ask for money yes yes they do, but not for frivolous things, the money that is given is to help the needy, around the world, which is exactly what the church is called to do. Me myself I have given many times but there have been times where I wasn't able, Noone EVER mad me feel bad about that or force me to give it is voluntary. All churches will ask for money, because money is needed to expand the kingdom. I will say this since I have been giving, I am blessed truly, I have never lacked anything. So overall anyone who wants to come to this church you will be received with love.”

“I have been a parishioner of St. Ignatius for 46 years. The priests and staff have always been warm and welcoming. My children received their sacraments here and I became involved in the Religious Education Program for 35 years which helped deepen my faith. I was saddened to read the review of a parishioner who had a bad experience in the Religious Education Program. She said she was outside the building so it may have been possible that the person who was rude and disrespectful to her may not have been a teacher at all. I hope that she returns and has a better experience. The pastor here is so kind, understanding, welcoming and open to many suggestions. St. Ignatius is a landmark here in Hicksville and is a beautiful Church both inside and out.”

“St. Frances de Chantal is an absolutely beautiful church. From the moment you step inside, you can feel a real sense of peace and belonging. The interior is stunning, the stained glass, the lighting, and the overall atmosphere make it such a comforting and holy place to pray or reflect. Father Seth is truly a wonderful pastor. He’s kind, genuine, and you can tell he really cares for everyone in the parish. His messages always come from the heart, and he makes every person feel welcome and valued. The community here is amazing — warm, friendly, and full of people who genuinely look out for one another. Whether you’ve been a member for years or you’re just visiting, you’ll feel right at home the second you walk through the doors. Outside, the prayer garden that was redone by Eagle Scouts is absolutely beautiful. It’s peaceful, well-kept, and such a great place to spend a quiet moment in prayer or reflection. Highly recommend stopping by to see it, it really adds something special to the church grounds. Overall, St. Frances de Chantal is more than just a place of worship, it’s a welcoming, faith-filled community that truly lives its message. Highly recommend visiting!”

“I went there w a Spanish friend and 2 others for a Vaentines Day dance, family atmosphere. I had the best time! My Spanish is limited, but most people spoke English. There was a dinner, wine and dessert w coffee. The children were assorted ages, and the band was loud, but played great Spanish music.I fell in love w the children, dancing w two beautiful little girls in dresses, and a sweet boy. I spent more time w them than my friends! ?♥️?⛪️”

“Love the Experience Vineyard Church. Found the church on google and I thanked the Lord for guiding me here. Pastor Ray is very down to earth and welcomed me on my first visit two weeks ago. I also felt spiritually embraced by the music and band. The people are warm and friendly and seeing a smile directed at me makes my whole day. Thank you, Jesus.”

“Beautiful looking place. The priest was nice. We attended our granddaughter's baptism. It's a big church in a nice town. The only downside was we had to park some blocks away. Parking seems to be a little difficult in this area.”

“I'm not a church guy. Haven't been to church in a very Very long time. Father Valentine is a very caring guy. For someone who goes into church very infrequently he remembers names and faces very well. It's a very pleasant service and it's not at all boring or stagnant. I bring my daughter here as well and he remembers her name too.The church itself is beautiful and small. Ties into the community well.”

“Started sending my grandson here for daycare when he was three years old, and he has really blossomed under their care. Very engaged, professionally trained staff. The kids play a lot and learn even more. No pressure, just at their own pace, which is at it should, especially for young children. My daughter gets daily videos texted to her. My grandson looks forward to seeing all his friends, and his teachers, every day. A wonderful place.”

“After being a part of the Hewlett East Rockaway Nursery School for almost a year - I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with the level of care, dedication, and attention given to the children and families in the community. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the school and shul. One of the things that stood out to me was how much the school prioritizes the children. This is demonstrated in their actions, such as creating a pray ground so that families with children can participate in services. The Rabbi and his wife are also very kind and make an effort to connect with each family. Their Friday night service with music and singing was beautiful and inclusive. The director of the school, Cheryl, is truly an exceptional individual. She is the most devoted, loving, and hardest working person I have ever encountered. She is always available to answer any questions and treats each parent with the utmost respect. Her dedication is evident in the amazing events she creates for families to partake in, and she is there from early mornings to late nights ensuring that everything runs smoothly.Safety is taken very seriously at the school, and they even have a security guard present at all events. Cheryl is also very hands-on with the children, knowing each one individually, and hosting the most creative events. The staff at Herjc are all respectful and greet you with a big smile. The positivity in the environment is palpable, and it is clear that they work hard to ensure the kids get a well-rounded education.Overall, I am very happy to be a part of this community and hope to grow more in it. If you are looking for a nursery school that is welcoming, loving, and friendly, with a strong emphasis on children's education and safety, I highly recommend the Hewlett East Rockaway Nursery School. It is truly a five-star institution that exceeds all expectations.”

“Queens based Catholic community of faith that lifts the spirit. Beautiful architecture, lovely religious art, meaningful symbols and images. Led by faithful priests and generous volunteers. Source of spiritual support to my aging mentor. Grateful for those that joined us in prayer at his viewing at Stuntzman and Son. Thank God for this Holy place and welcoming space. Hope you pay them a visit. Visit their website. Pray for them. Make a donation in memory of someone you love who has been gone to their eternal rest. COME HOLY SPIRIT?️?⛪”

“Call me Bernie. I am a Westbury resident now, but as a teenager 50 years ago, I traveled back and forth across the Country TWICE in successive Summers, and at the suggestion of someone I met the 2nd day on the road, I stayed in a Salvation Army "shelter" (in Snyder Texas, it was a room in the Snyder Hotel), and they fed me dinner, gave me a clean bed for the night, and breakfast the next day, with "Farewell and Godspeed". Ever since then, when anyone asks me for a donation, I politely inform them that the Salvation Army is my ONLY charity, and for the kindness they showed me long ago, I have willingly repaid them for it dozens of times over. When I was living in Floral Park, there was a thrift shop a mile away, and anything of value that I no longer needed, appliances, furniture, clothing, etc., I gave to them. I also bought many things there, increasing their cash flow as a result. As charitable organizations go, their use of donations has a higher percentage than any other charity I know. My Father told me when I was 10 years old, "There are 3 types of Palm. The Coconut Palm. The Date Palm. And, oh yes...The OUTSTRETCHED Palm. Many so-called charitable organizations collect millions, and keep most of it for themselves. I could name several, but they know who they are. The Salvation Army's ONLY mission is to help those in need, and they do it better than anyone else on Earth. As an American citizen, I am exercising my right to this opinion, and whether or not you share it is entirely up to you. Either way, if there was an approval rating of MORE than 5 Stars, they deserve it, period!”
