Very bad customer service, also no cars available even when you have a reservation

Store employees close shop early and do not answer the phone but then blame the customer for “not arriving on time”. Instance reported to corporate for failure to abide by corporate store hours policy.Today I called this location at 10am to inquire about a rental and an employee answered. Once given information I made a reservation for a 12pm pickup. I called the location again at 11:45am while en route to location as a courtesy to advise I would be arriving very close to closing time even though the rental was for 12pm. No one answered. I called repeatedly to inform them of my 12pm pick up. No answer. Arrived at location as stated on gps at 1159am. Doors were locked. Lights were off. A staff member came out the side door stating “they went home already, you are late”. It was obvious to my family and I that no one answered the phone because as the employee stated, they left already.It’s not justified to offer a 12pm pickup only to then close shop early without out a call to the customer to advise that a rental will no be honored and then blame the customer. This is poor customer service.

Extremely rude staff, long wait, didn't have the car I reserved, car provided with less than 50% charge (EV), car was filthy (interior), charged battery charging fee upon return although returned at same level as provided. Gold presidents club member.

Rented a car for work today. The men that work here are lovely and we're nothing but lovely finding me a car. They also handled some rude men also renting cars very well this morning. 10/10, will rent again.

Takes forever. Employees should at least say hello to you while they're helping other customers out. Felt as if I want even wanted in the store. After waiting about 2 hours past my pick up time, the car that I reserved online was no longer available but a similar car was made ready. Car smelt fresh and was in good condition. Wish employees would at least recognize new costumers coming in and come up with a way where they service the customers waiting for cars on reservation first. I must've waited over an hour and half to get a car I reserved for just to have no employee available to assist me. Had a reservation for 1pm didn't leave until 3pm and was late to a wedding. I've rented through hertz before why is there no mobile pick up? Tuoro is a better option. This employee was help

The rental process was good, easy. I had a problem when I dropped the car back off, first off you can’t even call the number to speak to an actual person, I got charged a late fee for 4 days when my original receipt I got said my drop off date was the day I dropped it off. Why am I being charged $48 for a late fee when I dropped it off on time

Don’t bother. There’s an enterprise in Freeport, less than a mile way better service, they were so much more helpful. Customer service at this Hertz is literally the worst, they could care less to help you and the person at the desk was also vaping while talking to us.

Was lucky enough to have such excellent service by Jonathan and Mary (branch manager) after a horrible experience at the Great Neck Branch.They greeted me with respect and made sure I left the rental very happy. Even on a busy Friday morning they still got the job done in a timely manner and kept every single customer happy. Hope your superiors recognize your hard effort! Both of you deserve the positive recognition!

So I reserved and paid for a tesla model Y weeks before I came to pick it up. And when you reserve this particular vehicle there are no similar vehicles listed on the site. When I arrived there was No tesla model Y. How about there was only compact cars. When I inquired about a larger vehicle that was on the lot. they said it was already reserved. I wish they would have had the same policy when it can to the vehicle I reserved.

Let's just say I've been calling for the last 30 min because I need to return my rented vehicle. They are under staffed and the manager is useless.

This place right here do not go it's not the employee it's the manager Mary who is the worst who hate to say it but she was given certain people cars that did not work and now they did not work and then going to till them to go to the airport to change it when in all the man did not even what or reserve that car she was given the fucked up card to the people she did not care to much about and the man who came in for that car got a car meh did not want but keep cause there was nothing else an his was working better then the car he wanted she gave us a smaller car then we ask for then the car was acting up called back an she ain't give a f@ck she was calling people in for car when they ain't have to give to who was waiting and the wait was to long and Mary needs to be trained more better if she want to stay a manager the way she act to certain people she need to be out back cleaning car away from the people
