Nice move…charged me $40 to measure my front door and told us they would apply it to the installation… claimed there was an issue with the frame but won’t give us back the $40 bucks… careful btw it doesn’t say that on the receipt

Home Depot statement: "Home Depot: Associates and customers who are fully vaccinated can enter without a face covering, the company said on its website". Why is the Freeport store still demanding masks? Please take the sign down requiring masks. Myself and many others will not shop there until that sign is down.

This location is not my favorite Home Depot. Seems more cluttered. Less organized. The staff does try to be helpful, but seems the clutter makes it difficult for even staff to find in stock items. Parking lot experience is not pleasant. Day laborers congregate outside the entrance approaching folks leaving. I would see how this could be intimidating to some. I stop here only if I'm in the area passing by to save time.

I went to this Home Depot this past weekend only to find it packed with customers. The staff were all extremely busy but Martin stopped and took the time to ask us how he could help even though I could tell he was in the middle of several different things. We ended up getting the grill we wanted pre-assembled and a Martin took the time to help us fit it into our car (not an easy task)!

Moved recently and have been going to the store to get supplies weekly. I see staff but they never offer help. I'm in the store 2-3 times a week since December. Not sure what the deal is.... Paint department is awesome though. The paint dept manager and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. (I know everything about paint was a vendor ) they didn't try to BS me into buying what I didn't need. Customer service and returns are great and cashiers are friendly.

I had to pick something up today and decided to go through curbside pick up to make it quicker and the most safe option during the pandemic. I got the pleasure of meeting Connor. He was extremely friendly, polite I'm very quick witted. He delivered my product within seconds and did not make me wait long. He provided excellent and efficient service for me. Thank you so much Connor continue your great and hard work!!!!!

If possible i would give this store a zero. Do not shop here ever they do not stand by there products. I got a grinder as a gift that did not work. I went to exchange it and they refused to exchange it since i did not have a receipt. According to their on line website they do take items back with out a receipt. I al now stuck with a product that does not work. Last time i will by anything from this store

This is literally the worst Home Depot on Long Island. The parking lot is a constant s*** show, and the contractor and lumber lines are always a mile long. I placed an online order for in-store pickup (bad mistake, NEVER AGAIN) and it arrived at the store and 3 days later I still didn't receive an email to pick it up because it was just sitting on the truck. Good luck getting in touch with anyone at the store. I've called over 5 times and the phone just rang and rang for 10minutes straight each time with no one ever picking up the phone. DOES ANYONE WORKING IN THIS PLACE???? Beyond frustrated and definitely going to Lowe's next time or ANY OTHER HOME DEPOT BUT THIS ONE. it's worth having to drive further to not deal with this s*** show of a store.

We always seem to have problems with Home Depot. We have had to visit Home Depot twice since March and on the first occasion it took us about 25 minutes to get help (after asking an associate). On our most recent visit, which was to the Freeport location, help was even more challenging to find. I'll mention this review is specific to curbside pickup, which is what my wife and I utilized to pick up an online order. My wife had placed the order about 2 weeks prior to pickup, and we had to wait that length of time for the item to be shipped to the store (not a big deal, and we were happy to wait). When it came time to pick up our order, my wife was able to drive there to pick it up and followed the instructions in the curbside pickup spots. After 20 minutes nobody came out, so she called and the phone rang for 15 minutes off the hook. Finally somebody came with the items to the car but unfortunately the items couldn't fit (our fault there). My wife drove back without the items and decided to come back with me in my Jeep the next day. When we arrived the following day, we once again pulled into a curbside pickup spot and followed the instructions to indicate we had arrived. After 30 minutes, still nobody, and the phone once again was ringing off the hook. After 45 minutes, my wife decided to walk inside to ask for help. She found the first employee she could, and if it weren't for this individual this rating would be 1 star instead of 2. The woman went to the curbside pickup desk and found that nobody was there, nor was anybody responding. This was an hour before curbside pickup was supposed to close! Thankfully this awesome employee went to go pick up the item herself and bring it back out for us. Just like every other Home Depot I've been to, management is so ineffective. Individual employees are wonderful, but something about the way the staff is organized and something about their operating procedures makes for a chaotic mess. Freeport is no exception, and curbside pickup in particular is not even close to where it should be.

I just waited 60 minutes for someone in the door dept to take my call. I have now hung up and will take my business to Lowe's. I was supposed to rec a call from an installer to come and measure for a storm door and was making an inquiry as to when he would be calling. I was told a day or two and it is now a week. I guess they don't need my money!

I have been trying to set up an appointment for a bathroom remodeling with the Freeport Home Depot. Not only can I not reach the remodeling dept., but I have been ringing the store for 25 minutes. No one picks up!! You would think that they would want customers. I guess they have gotten too big to care. I even own their stock! I have to rethink this.....Home Depot has gotten very customer unfriendly. I will take my business elsewhere. And I will immediately sell their stock since the company has gone downhill! Karyn

I have been waiting for assistance for over twenty minutes. When I ask employees for help I'm told it's not their department and they'll page someone but no one comes. A lot of employees are wearing masks under their noses and hanging on their chins exposing their nose and mouth which is not up to the health guidelines enforced by New York State at this time.
