Great service from the time I submitted my claim to when the technician arrived- and completed the work within 1hr. Just to provide an example of exemplary customer service treatment - the technician was kind enough to wait as I brought my son down the road to day care and back before starting the job. His 3min of patience saved me from spending in additional travel expenses or even having to walk in the cold weather conditions with my 2year old. Thank you safelight!

The guys at Safelite did a marvelous job replacing my windshield. I specifically went to this location all the way from Brooklyn because they had great reviews. Happy to say I was not disappointed! They saved my inspection sticker as well. Everything looked good as new just as it was OEM. Highly recommend.

Working with Safelite is such an easy process. A representative confirms everything through the phone and you just drop your car off. From there, the process is so fast, I got my car back in less than 2 hours for a windshield and wiper replacement. Definitely recommend.

OMG. #1, too many commercials on TV for safelite and all the supposedly good work they are known for. 100% NOT true. I know nothing about glass repair, car glass installation or recalibrating the necessary software for a modern car, but evidently neither does Safelite of Freeport. Our car had a unrepairable crack in the front windshield. Upon dropping off the car, everything seemed OK, but once picking up the car, it was evident, they did NOT properly calibrate the necessary software for the vehicle nor properly reinstalled the rain sensor. We brought the vehicle back and they "supposedly" recalibrated it but it still did not work. We had no choice but go to the vehicle manufacturer and they recalibrated the software, but the rain sensor only worked for a short while. The REAL problem was the improper installation by Safelite of the adhesive/rubberized material to hold the rain sensor onto the glass. The ONLY way this was finally properly fixed, my son, who formerly worked for this cars manufacturer, reinstalled, this time properly, the adhesive material for the sensor and now, it works perfectly. As for Safelite? I would NEVER recommend such bad workmanship.

I recently went there to have my car done. The language and tone I heard throughout the process of waiting for my car was absurd. I can't believe this type of unprofessional behavior is allowed in such a big company. I had a glass change and it was covered by insurance.

My appointments were rescheduled approximately 2 times. The 3rd time, they informed me that they have an incorrect address, I was asked if I wanted to reschedule my appointment or go to the shop, I drove to the shop and after sitting for approximately 40 minutes, I was told that the technician left with the glass. I immediately cancelled my service.

These guys are terrible. They scratched up the VIN cover glass, broke my rain sensor, charged my insurance for OEM windshield (required on my car due to lane assist cameras and sensors) but installed an aftermarket windshield that had to be replaced, and lastly Bill is one of the worst people I ever had to deal with. He is always miserable and rude. Stay away from these clowns, better shops available.
