On 02/21/24, I had a DREADFUL experience with my passport application appointment at the Freeport location. In sum, my appointment was supposed to last only 15 minutes, but it ended up taking 2 hours! That sums it up.First, I chose this location because it stated I could take my passport photo there. However, when I arrived, their 'machine' was out of order, which meant I had to go to an independent location to get my passport picture taken.The most concerning issue was that after submitting my completed error-free form, the section "Select document(s) for which you are submitting fees " was, for some strange unknown reason, altered by the first lady who attended to me. I inquired why my form was being tampered with, to which she responded by scribbling over it and subsequently using whiteout correction fluid despite my objection.U.S. Dept of State clearly stated in black and white on the form, "If you make an error, complete a new form. Do not correct." Therefore, I requested a new form be processed but was vehemently opposed.The second lady, who subsequently assisted, albeit reluctantly, with a new application form, was particularly extremely rude and condescending. She threatened numerous times to reschedule my appointment or cancel the entire passport application process.I urge USPS management to train these workers on professionalism in the workplace. Most importantly, they must learn that tampering with customers' official forms is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Erasures, scribbles, or whiteouts on official documents are inadmissible and render them invalid.

I don’t live in this city, but I called this post office for assistance with a package I’m sending to this city. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who answered the phone, but he was incredibly helpful despite being quite busy. I appreciate that he took the time to help me out with concerns regarding the package while he was busy.

save your time from coming here unless you are doing a simple thing besides that the ladies up front are as slow and are no help at all

No accountability as to whom is delivering packages or if they are using a truck or personal vehicle.. Need a better system to show actual delivery like a photo shot.. In this climate every resource is necessary..Not dependable! Beware!!

Alot of attitude for no reason. I tried shipping 3 boxes. And the person working was making things soo difficult. I went to UPS store and was in and out 5 min. Excellent customer service at UPS store. If you need to ship something. UPS store is cheaper also

Customer service has been great at this location. Limited parking available but some do use the rear lot when it's empty (which is actually for the postal trucks and the employees). Can vary with the wait time for assistance. Old and beautiful building. Used to have a couple drive up drop-off boxes (which was changed several years ago), but there are still several drop-off boxes located outside for anytime (prepaid postage) letter drop-offs.
