Tried to pick up a game that officially releases today. Guy told me "it's only for preorders, not general sale".
I walk out, "preorder" the game on the website to pick it up there, got the game 30 minutes later. What a joke.

I made a purchase in person. The first time I made a purchase in queens in person and guess what this was the only place I made a purchase on valentine days then by the next day someone took my card info to purchase game pass. Someone in this store is using or stealing people card info and I'm going to make sure this person gets arrested trust and believe. If I'm posting is because I just confirmed. Look out for the staff member that quits that location. Don't use your credit card or debit card at this location. It's crazy but queens location always has people trying to steal people's info so look out.

It's an okay store, a lot of their games are over priced, but that's what you expect with GameStop. They have a variety of other game themed items as well.
I've had no issues whenever I bought something from here.

Attempted to trade in a dual sense edge controller in perfectly working condition. Went to his game stop and they told me the trigger button was not working. I went to another GameStop which checked the same controller and they said all was fine with it. Terrible service and all they want to do is upsell you on other items.

During my visit, I was misled by an associate regarding the purchase of a Nintendo console. The associate falsely told me that in order to buy a Nintendo product, I would first have to purchase a membership. This was not only incorrect but also an underhanded tactic to push an additional sale. When I informed the associate that I was not interested in purchasing a membership, he continued to misrepresent the situation and lied about the price of the Nintendo product. I was led to believe that the membership was necessary for the purchase, which turned out to be completely untrue.
When I asked for a refund or a resolution to the situation, the associate refused to offer a solution. The situation worsened when I requested assistance from the store manager (Brian). Instead of offering a professional resolution, Brian was nasty, dismissive and rude. I was then presented with a refurbished Nintendo Switch at the original price, which felt like an attempt to push an inferior product at an inflated price.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!

Mikel was condescending even though he wasn’t clear when asked a simple question. But then again, this GameStop like most isn’t known for hospitality. I’m sure the only thing to look forward to at this job is to belittle people when you can’t answer a question correctly. (Why talk about previous availability when it is not available? Be for real.)

Went to buy a ps5 pro and the sales associate told me that I need a pro membership to buy a ps5 pro. I asked why and the associate told me 'its ps5 pro man'. What a joke. I kind of understand paywalling the external disc drive behind pro membership due to scalpers but the ps5 pro is available almost everywhere. Not only that, you don't need a pro membership to buy the ps5 pro on the gamestop website. Anyways, I ordered ps5 pro from target instead and on top of that I got $35 discount on the order because I have a target red card.
Hope it was worth it gamestop. Losing a $700 sale by trying to upsell a $25 pro membership.
Don't fall for GameStop's predatory policies all.

Very bad service, customer service is very bad, very rude to the people who go to buy at that place today I went to buy a card to put money and I am subscribed to the page according to which they give a discount of almost five dollars and they do not give me the discount and they will charge me more

I keep trying to call the damn store to find out if a game is available and nobody ever picks up. Why are the employees ignoring my calls on a day they are open and busy?
