Called the store twice and spoke with the store manager Richard to ask them if they accept a trade in for a specific product. They told me twice that they do and I have to come in store to receive an appraisal. Had to make a 30 minute drive, just for them to tell me they are receiving an error when they look the product up when they should have looked the product up when called. Customer service is terrible, for a store manager to give false information when given multiple chances to do the right thing. Would not recommend going to this store.

This place is great but they never answer the phone. EVER, it would save me a lot of time if they’d answer the phone to inquire about things instead of having me drive or walk all the way to the store only to be told no we don’t carry what you’re looking for. i’ve shopped here countless times and the service is great and fast. just wish y’all would answer the phone lmao.

Today is a big launch day for two major games. I called the store over 2 dozen times to make sure they had the games available. No one ever answered the phone. Not even once. Not here or at the bay terrace location. I went to the store and there was a total of one employee working in the entire store. While I waited in line for a customer to very, very slowly articulate what they wanted, I continued to call the store, just to hear the phone ring inside the store. However, this location has the ringer completely silenced. So the employees are never aware of whether a call is coming in or not. I get the employees aren't treated well here. But is answering the phone now too much to ask? Especially during off peak hours ?

Let me just say, this is the Gamestop i go out of my way for, why? Because the guys that work there go out of their way for the customers! Kennady and Aaron, know their stuff inside and out. Polite and kind, respectful and honest. These guys helped my brother and I in a tough situation and even stayed after helping to make sure we were all good. Thanks Gamestop Fresh Meadows

The guy is cool buuuttttt preorders suck at this location and they never answer the damn phone so you have to drive to find out your preorder isn't available.Oh that's right your sooooo busy with wall to wall customers you can't answer the phone ?

There was only one employee working at the time so i had to wait over 15-20 minutes just to ask a question and still couldn’t. After making my selection i asked the cashier if the game works fine and if he can double check. He said the game was okay and will work fine- after coming home and putting the game on my console kept saying “unrecognizable disk” and after calling game stop to inquire if I can exchange the game for another one that works no one picked up my call.

I went there with friends to get some gaming gear. We bought a mouse but when I got home it was broken and shattered. When I tried to get a refund she said we can't get a refund because the seal was broken. how were we suppose to know if the product is broken if we don't open it. she Said we needed to buy the warrant to get it returned. when we bought it there was a random free. Terrible place won't go back ever again

I wish I could give this a no star they never answer phone call for simple questions and don’t attend customers based on simple customer related things it’s called multitask you live in New York you gotta be a hustler not someone who thinks showing up everyday does the job simply will never shop here micro center and Best Buy are down the block way better off by a mile no funny save yourself the trouble and the time it will be wasted here lol good luck next couple years this will definitely be closed I promise you that ? anyone who wrote a good review is a fake trust me there’s nothing good to write about ima be the real person and let you know before hand I don’t want anyone to go through the experience I had I rather not even buy anything and just simply not have what I want instead of shopping here 100% they outta close it and place some type of comedy center better cause this place is a joke.

They sold me a faulty game and added a warranty to my order without my consent. I won the game but it shows up on my record as a loss because of some kind of error.

GameStop is really bad now. They never have anything on sale in stock & no one ever picks up the phone. So you will waste your time drive all the way there for nothing. They also don't honor their sale price online & you can't order store pick up either why? Do Gamestop actually want customer business or drive them away? It's very difficult to buy new games there. If you online they will sell you open used game as new & if you go to store they will not have in stock or the price is higher then their own wedsite. It's unreal
