The gym is clean enough and the classes are good, although most instructors are late. I like the decor (trees with no leaves on the walls and balls of lights), although It is wintery and I am not sure how I will feel in the Spring. Machines I have used work. The juice bar is good for those that want to use it. Parking can be found around the corner. The Q17 bus, which stops at the corner, operates often. There does not seem to be an accountable owner. They need some BASIC improvements that they have not put in since I told them about them weeks ago. These are: Fix the flush in the toilets in one women's bathroom. Most machines have no television, and the two that do have so many channels with many digits so you don't know what channel each one is, and you have to hunt for a basic ABC. I don't want to be on my cellular telephone each time I am on a machine, and I may want to catch the news or a basic program. It was nice to find Lavern & Shirley one day, though. The pay for personal trainers is the early 1990s rate for first-time trainers. I was told it is for those in their 20s. I don't like my age guessed, plus if I were 21, especially with a BA, I would not train for that amount. They will get new, hard rollers. The free weights in the aerobics room are old and cruddy. Any employee can go across the street to the hardware store to purchase hooks for two out of four of the women's bathroom stall doors that do not have them. They can purchase the stick-on ones. Putting a purse on a hook is better than putting it on the bathroom floor. A second leg extension machine would be great. The sauna needs to be bigger so more than one lady can lie down in it. This improvement would take a while.

Unfortunately, sharing a negative review because of their billing/cancellation system. When requesting to cancel, we were told to print the form online and mail it out, and that in-person cancellations were not allowed. We acknowledged this fact and printed the form, filled it out and sent in our cancellation notice. We were informed that we would be charged the next month, which we also acknowledged. We sent this notice in during the third week of August 2023. We were charged September 2023, which was OK.October comes around and we are charged again.I call the fitness center and they then tell me we need to come in person to cancel instead of paper-form-mail? So you're telling me that I not only wasted time printing-mailing-stamping, but also spent another 2 months of membership whilst WAITING for my cancellation to happen.NOW, I have to go BACK in person, and possibly wait 2 more billing cycles to cancel? (In addition to the few months in between since Aug to now Jan 2024 that I was charged because I was out of the country.)I tried to file a charge back, unfortunately, I don't have "proof" of my cancellation mail that I sent back in August. It's funny how they are diligent to apprehend their losses when a chargeback was filed, yet they are incompetent and RADIO SILENT when a customer is trying to cancel.Did they receive my mail back in August? Did they see it and throw it away? Did they never receive it? Is it sitting on their desk collecting dust? Seriously, left the nastiest taste in my mouth when I think about how complicated they make things for a simple gym membership. I've had lesser costing gym memberships that made it much easier.Do not join this gym unless you enjoy being told different things and paying extra amounts due to their incompetence.

Read the reviews before calling and was worried because there's a lot of reviews about bad customer service and rude staff. Decided to ignore it because I thought it was probably just unhappy customers taking it to social media for no reason and are over exaggerating. When I called a month ago or so to ask about joining the gym. The individual I spoke to was so monotoned, rude and tried to rush me off as quick as possible. I bartend on the weekends and deal with drunk/rude people all the time and I don't even talk to rude/drunk people the way they spoke to me when I just had questions about joining the gym. Didn't grab the individuals name and was hesitant about posting this review because it's a local gym but I couldn't forget about that experience so here is my post about my first experience with this gym. Turned me away from joining. I live less a 5 minute drive away so it's a shame. I'll be looking elsewhere. Maybe another Push Fitness location in queens.

That guy whose name I won't even mention, and who is a manager I was told, is not very welcoming, acting like he owns the gym and that his gym is so exclusive. I don't want to join a gym that is not very welcoming. He is snobbish, unfriendly, and like he's got no time for you and wants you to go away. Sorry, but there are a lot better gyms than your gym and don't act like your gym is the best.

Rude customer service. The gym isn't nearly good enough for them to be acting like that... I was genuinely thinking of joining until I was encountered by the rude woman on the staff. No one's going to want to join your gym with that nasty attitude :) Oh also there was dirty brown gunk built up on machines.

I never knew this Push existed so I decided to give it a try. Parking is a bit difficult since the gym is located on a busy strip but you could drive around in the residential area to find parking. The cardio machines are located on the first floor but the weight room is located in the basement along with the locker rooms which created a very basement feeling. I definitely like the push better in College Point.

I am honestly shocked to see all the negative reviews. I joined 8 months ago the whole staff is friendly the gym is clean and well maintained the juice bar is incredible with plenty of options. I go 4 to 5 times a week and I have no complaints, just like any gym if you go in during peak hours it will be a little busy but it's 100% manageable. I would recommend this gym to anyone that is serious about training.

I've been going to Push Fitness in Fresh Meadows a few years. I was always intrigued by the big sign outside saying "cleanest gym" and it being so close to my house. Unfortunately the sign is a lie as there is a stench of sweaty men who don't wear deodorant or shower filling the small gym, which is the size of my basement. Anyway, not only does it smell like absolute a$$ in there but the rules are just outright ridiculous. There's a $20 charge for ppl who are outside the 5 mile radius when the membership is $45/$55 depending on which one you have. Who wants to pay $45 for a gym thats a show box and smells atrocious? Where you cant even bring guests!! On top of the fact that this weird $20 charge is deterring people from signing up. I really expected more from a gym that's so expensive. I'm super dissatisfied and disappointed. If this gym wasn't a five minute walk I would've left as soon as I joined. Anyway unless you have no other choice I would probably go somewhere else. Even planet fitness is better than this

Beware of this gym. After being a member for three years I finally canceled my membership. I signed up for a more professional gym that is $200 more but this gym was so bad it pushed me to do so. Let's go down the list of things that are wrong with this gym. And how the only thing that's worth it is the location. 1. there are two squats racks you will spend most of your work out waiting for the squat rack. 2. Lots of young unprofessional kids screaming and lifting weights they can't even manage. 3. Smells terrible they should have someone to spray air fresheners. 4. Terrible costumer service rude and judgmental weird managers. 5. You will get there and majority of machines are broken and unaligned really outdated machines and equipment. 6. Only one of each machine so expect to wait 10-15 min in between each set to be able to use the other machines. 7. Sauna is not even hot and fits one person. 8. This is not luxury this is a $50 a month gym that is worst then planet fitness. This gym has potential due to its location. However they must do some serious investing in new machines and gym facilities safety. I will never forget the day I was in there and the ceiling fell through definitely a major safety hazard and made me feel unsafe every time I would work out under the ceiling. They got so lucky no one was under that when it happened . Save your money and go to the new planet fitness they opened by Applebees. This gym is $50 a month and is worst than $10 planet fitness. $50 a month and when you walk in and out of there don't expect to feel welcomed or even receive a greeting. They must retrain there whole staff in customer service. Since the machines are so bad staff service should be better to make up for the bad facilities.

Treats military members and their families like garbage. Husband got last minute orders out of the country and they told me to have my sister bring in a copy of the orders after informing me it had to be cancelled in person. My sister brought the paperwork and they gave her the run around telling her I had to send an email. Got no response. Would’ve liked to just cut my ties the correct way. Instead of just responding to me like a professional business, I’ve been ignored. Thank you to American Express for treating their customers like humans. ??

Summary: 1 Gym is good: clean, good amount of equipment 2 Terrible customer service - Sale person Rick needs professional training or be evaluated a) Areas that need improvement: listening, passive aggressive tone adjustment, customer service, efficiency, sales If you're the GM, just know you've lost out on two memberships because of your staff's attitude. Your location is great (ease of finding parking), local to apartments/busy areas so with any half competent front desk I don't see why people won't join.

My wife is a member of this gym. I am not. Due to scheduling constraints, I am unable to go to this gym more than once a month, so I simply go when I can and pay for a day pass since that's cheaper than paying for a membership. But I do live an extremely active lifestyle and I'm in excellent shape. This will be relevant later. I went this Saturday (8/12), and I told the lady behind the counter that I would like to pay for a day pass. Her response was "What, you don't want to pay for a membership?" I explained my situation to her and her response was "So you can't make a commitment to the gym." She then proceeded to take my money and told me to go ahead into the gym. Okay - weirdly passive aggressive but whatever. Then my buddy came to also pay for a day pass and workout. He's a veteran and asked if there was a military discount available. Her response to that question was "Other gyms charge $50 for a day pass. You want a discount on $20?" My buddy did NOT serve in the military for that kind of treatment. Disgusting behavior. If you're planning on coming to this gym? Be forewarned that you're not stepping into the most professional establishment, and you may have subpar interactions and experiences.

Gym is very packed during 5-9 pm as expected with all gyms but this one is pretty small and you feel it when it’s packed. A lot of wait times for machines and weights. Still feels very clean and machines are replaced often for newer models even when there is nothing wrong with them which is a good sign of upkeep. I like the atmosphere and people, which really helps when going to the gym. If you don’t go from 5-9 you’ll have a much easier and faster time working out but otherwise you’ll have to wait or ask to work in. It has more than the minimum needed for a good gym but simply doesn’t have space for extra stuff (that other push fitnesses in NY have). Honestly very expensive especially for all that it offers when you could go to LA fitness instead. Main reason I go is location.

Antonella is a nightmare! RUN away at all costs. Super RUDE for absolutely no reason. Well maybe because her brother owns the gym, so she feels entitled to be RUDE to his customers. A gym is supposed to be a stress free environment, where you can go and get a workout in peacefully. This gym is NOT that place due to the RUDE staff they have on hand. Management truly is terrible, never fixes any of the BROKEN EQUIPMENT and will stay broken for months. (Now let’s all wait for a rude response because that’s how they treat their customers, as if we owe them anything).
