Byrne Dairy, Fulton NY — 11:45am 9/16/25 — stop for drinks and food turned into a masterclass in passive-aggressive customer service.
Cashier’s card reader “mysteriously” went down, I was cut off mid-sentence, made to repeat my order like a broken record, and another employee slammed a pizza into the warmer like it owed them money. Meanwhile, lingering customers got a front-row seat.
Convenience stores aren’t supposed to feel like staged performances of inconvenience theater. It’s becoming a trend: female employees exploiting their position behind the counter to gatekeep, delay, and provoke instead of serve.

Byrne always has the creamiest ice cream and Half and Half to me. Their Mint Milk at St. Patricks Day is also a fun tradition. The Pizza isn't too bad either if you needed a quick one made up.
