Uhaul needs to be transparent about their trailer rentals (6×12) explain that all open trailers are one way . Why that is, sucks!. So now I'm forced to rent an enclosed trailer. I did learn one good thing .... ( and here is the plug for uhaul... and I expect gratuity...) they don't advertise it but a can-am trike will fit on a 6×12 trailer. At least the one I used. It was the trailer with no ramp .. had an inch or two on each side threw the doorway. I backed it in .

At first thought service was great rented u-haul and bought a stihl chainsaw... But guy never showed us gas in truck like supposed to and we ended up putting a half tank of gas in truck upon return and we only used a quarter tank. When girlfriend called to talk to guy he said nothing he could do to call u haul... Not very professional.

So, I'm moving, only a few miles, but enough that I want to rent a uhaul van. I go online and make the reservation, also reserving a hand cart, I have a bad knee and would rather hand cart 3-4 stacked boxes down a flight of stairs than carrying them one at a time. When I arrive, the desk isn't manned, about ten minutes after I arrive at my scheduled time does someone finally come out. The check in process took nearly a half hour, and just when he went to grab the key for my van, he said I'd need a credit card to rent the van, that my bank card could only be used on the other vehicles. If I had a credit card that wouldn't be an issue. So as I'm leaving, I asked him about the hand cart and he said he'd grab it. I waited about ten minutes, till he told me that he doesn't have one. I expressed my disappointment in the false advertising and that now my hurting knee was going to hurt even more as I transport my stuff, one box at a time. Next time I will find alternative transportation to move my stuff.
