This place is a real find. No cookie cutter big name design to the rooms. These rooms had style. Place was spotless. We Ubered to the racetrack, it was so close.

Quaint, charming alternative to the big chains. If you are expecting concierge service, this isn’t for you, however, the rooms were clean, they had digital entry, and the manager was more than accommodating. You also get a voucher for a breakfast sandwich at the diner next door. We didn’t use it but instead had other delicious food.
Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean with shower products.
It was a fine stay and would definitely recommend!

Stayed here the night before opening datmy at the track. 8 minutes to the track. Room was very, very clean. Mini fridge, microwave. Bathroom was updated, bed was very comfortable. This property allows digital check in.
You will also receive a couple of coupons for a free breakfast sandwich at a restaurant that is right next store.
Open wifi network. Spectrum cable TV.
For what the rates are during track season, this property is a hidden gem.

This place turned out to be great. About 3 miles from the track & broadway. We had the 2nd floor suite w/balcony. Was pet friendly.
A few more amenities would’ve been nice especially a dresser or somewhere to put our belongings. We’d stay again however. Great breakfast at the deli next door. A nice perk! Gotta go to NOVES

Stayed for 3 Nights. Room had a horrible smoky smell for our whole stay. We opened windows and used the fan to no avail. Breakfast is a sandwich & coffee you can get from a nearby deli. Egg and cheese in a roll. Coffee was weak. Pretty poor all around. Shower and bathroom had next to no water pressure. No extra pillows in the lobby area.
I can’t in good conscience recommend this place.

A little rough. The caretaker tries hard to manage and satisfy the patrons

For the price you can't beat it. Clean cute room management was great and very accommodating. Near everything you'd need. If you want extra towels or anything they keep the office stocked so you can help yourself at any hour. Definitely an affordable option I'd recommend.

Great location and prices. We were pleased to see how cute the room was and everything was very clean. Extremely helpful and attentive manager and the breakfast sandwich vouchers were a very nice touch, so make sure you grab them! Grab some of their frozen raviolis while you’re there too, they are to die for. I would recommend this place for your next Toga outing. You simply cannot go wrong.

My husband and I used the birches as a hotel block for ourselves and our wedding parties. We had the greatest experience with them. From the blocking process to communication throughout they were absolutely phenomenal. They kept us updated as people booked and gave us updates as we got closer. The stay there was absolutely wonderful as well. We were close proximity to our other guests and were able to enjoy the area. The rooms were very nice, super comfortable beds. We had the king suite, and the extra space and deck was such a game changer. Very affordable for everyone and the complimentary breakfast sandwich coupons included was a nice addition that we absolutely utilized! I would recommend this place for any sort of event or if you're just coming to the area! Thank you guys for everything, us and our guests had the best time!
Thank you!

This place was reasonable in comparison to other hotels during race season. Overall, we were happy with the room…it was clean, had a fridge and microwave, and only about 5-10 minutes from downtown Saratoga. Super easy check in as it is online and you are then able to access your room. The one downfall was the bathroom…it is TINY…no curtain on the bathroom window, which is in direct vision of backyard, and the water pressure was non existent. A mirror somewhere else in the room would also be a good addition.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Birches Motel. Rooms are very comfy, very clean, and have great amenities. We brought our dog and he enjoyed the yard! Location was great for us - 10 minutes from Skidmore College. Loved Compadres Diner, Nove Italian Restaurant and breakfast from Cannone's Deli thanks to a coupon from Birches. Will stay here again when we're in the area.

I recently stayed at The Birches, a super cute and dog-friendly roadside motel near Saratoga Springs, on a hot summer night, and it totally blew me away. This is hands down the nicest roadside motel I’ve ever been to. The best part? The easy auto check-in process! You just check in online and get a code emailed to you for your room. The AC was ice-cold, which was perfect for the hot weather, and the whole place was spotless. The bed was really comfy, and you could tell the motel had been recently updated—it felt fresh and modern. Whether you’re just passing through or planning a longer stay, I highly recommend The Birches for its awesome blend of convenience, comfort, and charm.

This was probably one of the best motel experiences I've had. Everything about the situation was easy. I received a text the day of my check-in with a door code. I pinned that text to the top of my messages, so I always had easy access to it and had no problems with getting in/out of the room.
The place was clean, facilities were renovated, and it was spacious enough for me to spread my stuff all over and still walk around comfortably. They offer amenities, so if you don't have shampoo, body wash, etc. it's all there! The rooms also have a thermostat and AC, which worked well.
Wifi was great. I spent a decent amount of time in the room just working at the desk. Full kitchenette was functional, I could store some snacks that saved me the trouble of hunting down food and coffee in the morning. That said, they provided tea and coffee in the room, and I noticed a voucher to pick up complimentary coffee and a snack at a local spot, which is pretty cool.
It's a drive away from the downtown party area, but I was able to catch an uber for about $15, so if you don't want to drink and drive or don't have a car, it's still good to stay to hang out in the main st. area of Saratoga Springs.
Overall, I would be very happy to stay here again! It's a great no hassle, clean, newly-updated, family-owned motel moment!
