How do you know when you book a year in advance? This place is a mess. I would say there are more “permanent” residents than “campers.” The place is a dump, with trash & junk all over. Would not stay here again. Too far from any of the Hudson valley sites (we had to drive 1-2 hr) to see anything (our fault) The place is ill maintained. Laundry room is filthy.. place needs some major cleaning. We got a key card to come in after hours but the gates are wide open. Didn’t feel particularly safe. People not friendly. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Please continue your researches for another campground!
We stopped there for two days to cut the travel time in half while returning home and we were shocked to see how it do not look like the pictures on the website at all. We were put in a small and really narrow spot between seasonals. One of them were total hoarders and it was disgusting to see the amount of piled stuff everywhere. Besides us was a trailer with a permanent kennel outside with dogs in it, people around were loud, rude and very not welcoming. We were eager to get away as soon as possible. There was even a man arrested by the police while we were peacefully buying ice cream with our daughter. I suggest you take five more minutes to find another campground for your vacations. It’s a never again for us. Campground got great potential, but it looks like there are lots of rotten apples there.

I love it here we come with group of 40-50 people every year and stay with them we all have a lot of fun here definitely will return

We went camping here to go to the Tugboat Roundup in Waterford. Campground was very clean and quiet when we were there. They do a great job in keeping things clean and security was visible. We would def recommend this campground.

Large campground that has very wide driveways that are well maintained with no low branches. Very easy to get around with a 38ft Class A RV. Pull through sites are spacious. 70% of sites are permanent, rest are open. The playground area rec center and waterpark are absolutely amazing for families. Had a great time. It’s nice and quiet at night.
Cabins were adorable, spacious, updated, clean, and had just about everything. A bit pricey, but not far off in comparison to AirBnB in the area.
Cons: a lot of golf carts roaming around at night, public bathrooms/showers can use updates. Wi-Fi is poor.

I’m so sad with how this trip turned out! We were supposed to be there Tuesday-Friday. We ended up leaving a day early. Upon getting there Tuesday we were meet with non-friendly staff, then once we arrived at our site which is on top of cabins and later a couple more campers, our water spigot was on the wrong side- walk back to store to confirm that it’s the one we are supposed to use. “Unsure will send someone to check”. The sites are not set up like the map. The MANY seasonals make it feel more like a trailer park, especially with people constantly working on cars, power washing, and fuel trucks coming in daily or more. The game room is pretty sad as well. The water slides were a hit but wasn’t worth the money. My husband said the best part of the stay was the food truck. The pools were okay. One was closed down because someone pooped in it. All in all I would not recommend this “campground” and we will not be returning.

Sizeable flat sites. Great water features. Good food truck. Some very good staff members. (Polite and helpful.) Pretty quick to address issues you inform them of. Lots of friendly campers encountered.
Noteworthy details: They have their hands full with having to constantly pick up trash after all the childish littering from kids & Adults.
I wish so many in society felt not so entitled, and be so obnoxious.

We have camped at the Deer Run Adventure Bound for the last four summers. We rent a cabin for a weekend. Our grandchildren always love the water park. It’s been perfectly age appropriate, they are now 6 & 7. The first two years were 5 stars but for the last two years things have begun to appear less than maintained. This year there was a lack of adequate silverware in the cabin, the cabin was not a clean and usual, and the freezer was malfunctioning and was obnoxiously loud all day and night. There is typically a Saturday evening event for the kids or the arcade. This year there was no Saturday evening activity and the arcade was closed. The kids were a bit disappointed. The water park continues to ware and could benefit from some necessary repairs and a freshening up. Lastly, the firewood for the past two years has been way too wet to use. They shouldn’t sell it if it’s too wet. Overall, it was a good weekend but for the cost everything should be in good working order.

Road through the campground with my father. He was seasonal many years ago and also worked at the campground for previously owners. What happened to this place? It use to be so well kept. This place is a dump! Seasonal sites cluttered with junk. Golf carts running all over the place, no supervision at all. It use to be a nice family camp ground. What a s it hole! I would never camp here again!

Very nice campsite, very kind staff, clean, perfect terrain, beautiful mature trees, first time we have had a gravel site, it's perfect, no sand in the trailer. The only slight problem is the internet connection which could be better. But all in all, it’s excellent…

I was a little disappointed when we got there after a storm. The cabin that we rented was surrounded by water, like the cabin was floating in a pond. It sits in a hole and was muddy the whole weekend. I had to dig a trench over the bank to get some of it to drain so we could get in and out of the cabin without getting wet. The cabin was rustic, and had a definite slope to it, probably from it sitting in a drainage path. It was way to close to other people's cabins and campers which I didn't understand there was a lot of empty space on the property. The air conditioner was moldy. The bees and wasps (yellow jacks and we had white faced hornets at the cabin) around the whole campground were alarming. Lucky none of us are allergic. The water activities we amazing. So much fun. They had a foam party which was great but seemed a little unorganized. The arcade was disappointing as well. Half of the machine we put money into didn't work. All in all we had fun ( my daughter is 5 so she finds joy in the litter things) but this place could use some upgrades.

Was this one staff lady that was rude and seemed racist! Our power kept going out and the insects they had flying around were out of this world. Overall the pools were nice but that’s about it. The people that actually live there are also rude. Don’t think I’ll be going back

Site T - electrical box would not support 30amp RV. Key card would not work at gate. Had to disconnect towed vehicle to backup RV and go through the exit gate in order to get past the entrance. Vehicle chaos at the gate. Phone number went to message machine. Site was okay, but there was still some trash on the grounds from previous campers. Ticks are alive and well, so check yourselves and pets well.
