Skydive Saratoga is the longest running skydiving center in Upstate New York, located a short drive from Saratoga Springs at an airstrip in Gansevoort. It is widely regarded as the best place to go for tandem skydiving, especially for a first time. The business is persistent in its commitments to professionalism, customer service, a culture of safety, and the pursuit of fun. The entire team is friendly, professional, and incredibly welcoming. The staff and owners are great, providing a supportive and reassuring atmosphere. They are hilarious, calm, and crack jokes, making guests feel comfortable and at ease. Their communication and flexibility are outstanding, and they are very patient and accommodating, even when rescheduling due to weather or other plans. Safety is a genuine high concern for them; they will reschedule for conditions like strong winds, demonstrating their expertise and high concern for safety. Guests consistently note feeling super safe with their skill and their equipment. The experience itself is awesome and unforgettable from check-in to landing. The process involves an easy check-in, signing paperwork, watching a video, and then loading into the plane. The climb offers beautiful views before a thrilling freefall from 11,000 feet, followed by a parachute descent landing right where you started. The entire journey provides an unbelievable adrenaline rush and a once-in-a-lifetime memory. Guests walk away with a huge smile, often with great videos, and cannot wait to come back. It is a highly recommended, 10/10 experience that exceeds expectations in every way.
