My dog Charlie had a dental cleaning scheduled yesterday and the drop off time was 8am. I did not get a call until around 4pm from the staff stating that they could not do his dental procedure because they had an emergency. They did not provide me any updates about this at all during the day. When I tried to call them around 2pm for an update on Charlie, no one answered. I had to call again and try a few different options to finally talk to someone. When I finally spoke to someone around 2:30, they didn't have any updates on Charlie and didn't know when he would be ready. My dog didn't eat or drink all day because he had to fast for the procedure. They also shaved his arm and inserted a catheter even though they didn't do the procedure. When we went to pick him up, I heard him crying in pain when they were removing the catheter. It's really unfortunate he went through all of that and stayed there for hours without food and with no updates, all for nothing.I brought Charlie there before and have also had him wait there all day without being seen hours after drop off and with no communication to me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt by bringing him again there yesterday for his dental cleaning only to have an even worse experience and I truly regret it.

I've encountered several unsatisfactory incidents at Banfield Pet Hospital. The staff could definitely be nicer, and they don't provide ETA times or seem to have a clear understanding of what's going on with the pet's care. The fact that there are no appointments is inconvenient. Dropping off my dog in the morning and picking them up before closing makes it difficult to plan my day. Additionally, their arbitrary system for determining which dog is serviced first is frustrating, and I don't appreciate my dog having to wait in a kennel all day, even for minor issues. These recurring issues have made it clear that Banfield Pet Hospital has not improved over time. Unfortunately, these experiences have led me to the decision to no longer take my dog there.

Horrible place. They didn’t treat my dog right. They had him in a cage for 8 hours without any water. My dog when in for a simple consult about his ear The employees are rude and racist. Carina there is not helpful whatsoever. They never answer the phone. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET HERE. Horrible experience.

This is the absolute WORST Banfield related pet “hospital” there is. My dog went in for a quick consult for his ear. Apparently they only do “drop off appointments” and in the midst of my pup needing medical attention ASAP, I dropped him off. His drop off appointment was made for 8:30 AM. Four hours went by, I’m calling to check up on my pup and no one answers. The customer service is HORRENDOUS! After two hours of trying to reach someone I get put on a 20 min hold in which someone picks up & ends right away. I was now extremely worried . I ended up getting someone on the phone 30 minutes later by the name of Carina. She seemed to not know anything of what was going on, but what she did know was how to be condescending. Carina advised at 4PM that my dog was not seen yet, that other pets were of more priority than my dog. I picked my pet up immediately and once I walked in to the facility they wanted to hurry up & run all the tests. My dog was in a cage for 8 hours without any water and looked even more sick than what he went in there looking like. This is a place that really doesn’t deserve any stars!

My cat passed away due to saddle thrombus. We repeatedly complained of lethargy and they said nothing was wrong, but she had heart disease. I don't believe they do anything besides give vaccines for the optimum wellness plan.

Yesterday was the first time I had been to this Banfield location the staff was so friendly & professional. Liz the receptionist was very nice.I will continue to go to this location. My fur baby is a toy poodle that is 10 years old that needed vaccines so it was all done within 15 minutes. No long wait which was great

I’m not one to make a big stink out of nothing, but I will always put my dogs needs first. This is my first time visiting this location of Banfield. I called (multiple times) and someone over the phone (after I told them who my dog) was said I was free to pick up her Perscription at any time.I go to get it and then they tell me she actually needs to come in so they can weigh her for the correct weight limit. That’s fair, but no indication of this over the phone. So I make the appointment, a “drop off” after they tell me they don’t take in person appointments. The man I spoke to was very nice, but again not informative of what this actually entails. They made my drop off appointment for 8am. when I arrived they THEN informed me the doctor doesn’t get in until 9:30 and I can’t pick her up until past 2pm. For a comprehensive exam? Never in my life of owning dogs and bring them to vets have I ever heard of leaving a dog in a crate for hours on end w waiting to be seen? It makes no sense. Why have the appointment set up at all then? Really big red flags. I was super uncomfortable with this and they made me feel ridiculous and uncomfortable for not wanting my dog to sit by herself in a doctors office all day. Really awful that this is normal practice as well. I understand having a drop off but there’s no reason I should have to leave her there all day. I was not confident they would even let her out to use the bathroom. She’s a puppy. The woman at the front was also incredibly rude and dismissive. They made me feel bad for not wanting to put my dog through that. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

TERRIBLE PLACE. I took my puppy there to get neutered on August 9th and when I brought him home I immediately noticed that one of the incisions were very poorly done. He has a huge protruding scar on one side. When I went to get his stitches removed after 2 weeks they left one in and didn’t even notify me. When I called to report it a receptionist by the name of Ariana was very disrespected and hung up on me. I also have my other dog there and Dr.Im gave him his cytopoint vaccine as well as a dewormer and immediately after I brought him home he was pooping blood, very lethargic and had diarrhea for a week. I called and noticed them and they gave me an emergency appointment. When I got in Dr.Im immediately said he had giardia however there is no possible way he can have it. I called the manger Maria Reyes and even she was very rude and disrespectful. No one in there cares about the well-being of the animals. They just want you to continue paying them so they can have money in their pockets. No one has any kind of customer service or sympathy.

NEVER AGAIN in my life would I spend another damn dime with this place if I could give them zero stars I would. Took my baby to get his teeth cleaned and a tooth extraction and they gave me back my dog wit dirty teeth an the tooth that needed to be extracted still in his mouth. An to top off upon looking at my dog I found a second that needed to be pulled. SMFH. $700 for what my babies teeth is still blasted dirty and not very clean as they should be when cleaned. Even tho some of the staff was understanding they still did NOT address the negligence.DR. Suzanne Yiseral needs to be held accountable for her stupidity and she got the nerve to call herself a vet that cares. They didn’t even offer me a refund seeing is that I have to take my dog to get a proper cleaning else where.
