This was my first time going to this place and everyone was so nice. I was seated right away. Susan was my nail tech and she was amazing. She had so much patience with me ( I kept changing my mind on the size I wanted). The thing I loved about this place was how attentive they were and made sure that they met your requirements. Susan took her time and shaped my nails like how I wanted. I finished with my nails and went home and saw that nails were too long to do normal daily things, I called them up to ask if they can cut it shorter. They said “Yep no problem, come in and we will cut them shorter”. I went back and Susan cut my nails and even fixed some because they were cut too short. The best thing was that they didn’t charged me for cutting and repairing. I totally recommend this place

i went to this place with two friends of mine, all looking to get simple things. initially, we walked in and felt very welcomed. the staff was incredibly nice, willing to answer questions, and took us immediately. i did book two week in advance for this appointment -- so they were prepared. my friend and i both got pedicures, with two completely different results. my pedicure lasted about 10 minutes, was incredibly rushed, and had a horrible paint job. my big toe on my right foot was smudged, and the big toe on my left foot was incomplete (only about half the nail was painted). they overcut my toe nails, leaving me with tiny stubs called "nails". i had paint around the skin -- overall was not pleased. however, my friend's pedicure turnt out well. her paint was nicely done, and she was finished in about 15 minutes (which is a little quick in my opinion for a pedicure; ive been getting them for roughly 15 years). my second friend received a gel powder manicure, and it looked horrible. her nails were incredibly thick, and her thumb nail came off after having it on for two days. they were also unevenly shaped, and we ended up having to shape them ourselves (she asked for a basic almond shape). on top of all of this, the staff kept pushing for upgrades (gel on the toes, doing a "spa" pedicure, etc.); which was not appreciated. we had declined nicely the first few times, but felt as though they were continuing to push. paying $25 for the regular pedicures and $65 for the manicure was slightly pricey, especially knowing that we could go somewhere else for a cheaper price. overall was not pleased with the service at all. this place was extremely convenient for my friends and i since we attend Adelphi University, but we won't be going back. as mentioned, the staff was incredibly nice, but the work was horribly done

My experience was 10/10. Leo…is a literal KING. He does amazing work from as soon as he touches my nail to when he gives me a finished hand massage. He is completely and utterly amazing, consistent, and makes me feel so comfortable. The rest of the staff is amazing too. I would recommend that you call to schedule an appointment for him specifically. My mother is so specific with who has the ability to touch her nails and she absolutely loves and only trust Leo. The environment is also very welcoming and very little wait time. As soon as you walk through the doors, usually with an appointment, they always have someone attend you so you don’t have to wait around.Would RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE ! Best nail salon and best PRICED!!!!Services: Dip powder

Came to this nail salon last week. Everything is overpriced. Services are decent. They do take walk ins (yay). I saw that they dilute the polish with acetone. This explains why after 3 days my nails started chipping. I will not be back.

Went here for the first time the other day, however, I only got a pedicure. Looks clean, nice comfy chairs. The only downside is the parking. Street parking. I found a spot but it was early in the morning around 8 am. I had a young guy do my pedicure. He did a decent job. No complaints. Wouldn't come back just cause of parking, they may do good nails but would prefer a spot with a lot.

Very pretty and relaxing but so sad about my manicure. I get SNS and usually from other salons it lasts about 3-4 weeks. My cuticles were barley cleaned and it ended up making them look more choppy. I am only a week out and the color is starting to turn yellow and is slowly chipping off around the sides. Was looking for a new place since my usual place is closed. Would recommend maybe for pedicures not manicures

I got my nails and toes done. First they upgraded my pedicure without me asking. I said regular pedicure. I was charged $40 for a spa pedicure I didn't ask for. Then my nails. I got the dip powder. A day later ... 1 DAY LATER my nails are chipped. Not one. But 8 out of my 10 fingers are chipped. I paid $100 to this salon and will never return.

I have been coming to Nassau nails for over a year now and I absolutely love it here. This place is my go-to nail salon. If you want a great mani that lasts, come here. Every time I show the nail techs a design I want, they always exceed my expectations and give me a beautiful design. Connie, the owner, is so great and funny and QUICK! I never feel rushed when I'm there, and Connie makes your dip powder manicure go by so quickly and smoothly which I LOVE. My manicures always last a month at least. I think the prices are reasonable based on the quality of manicure and how long it lasts. I can't bring myself to go to another place. I highly recommend!

Be careful!! They overcharge you! Very sneaky. They gave me most expensive pedicure when I asked for standard. $25 cost me $60!! Also took advantage of my teenage niece. Claiming they did could not just redo one tip on her nails. Charged me $80 for her manicure. Beware! They are not honest

I went to this place in a rush to get my nails done, I noticed they use the same file in all costumers hands, I didn't see them using sanitizers. My pedicure was nice and relaxing, but my hands not so nice, I asked for gel color and the girl used a lot of product and my nails are filling thick, besides that she filed them down way much, she filed them down as much as she hurt my skin with the file.

This review is for Nassau Nails at 10 Nassau Blvd in Garden City, NY. I feel it would be irresponsible of me not to warn others of my experience at this establishment. I went with my niece recently to do our nails. We were rushed. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were rushed. My niece was pressured into picking a color as quickly as possible. There was only one other person in the salon at that time so I couldn't understand why the rush. She had a special vacation and she was leaving the very next day, and couldn't even contemplate exactly what colors or designs would go best with her outfits. Such a shame because all we needed would have been maybe 5 minutes or less. My niece had a prior gel mani and pedi, and instead of soaking them properly, they brutally scraped it all off with a cuticle pusher, leaving her nails thin as paper. Then they only did 2 coats of gel for her, so her nails currently have zero protection. The whole reason people get gel or powder isn't just for the stay power-- these kinds of manis also harden the nail quite a bit. So paying for gel just for the nail to be easily bent and chipped or broken misses the point. Any personal concerns I politely mentioned about overbuffing my nails was quickly met with a defensive attitude about why I was wrong, so I just stopped trying. My pedicure came out bumpy with missing spots and smudges. She cut into the sides of the big toenail without asking me first. I abhor this method as it can create ingrown nail issues where there wasn't a problem to begin with. I asked her to please not do this, so she then proceeded to not take care of any cuticles and went straight to painting. See accompanying photos with and without flash for pic of my "pedi". On my way out the person cashing us out asked me if the tip we asked her to add onto the tab was going to be for each of us. She then tried to double it. She questioned the amount of our tip THREE times before finally putting it through-- but not without visible sighs and huffing. I mean, really? Just unbelievable. I do have to say that the young gentleman that did my fingernails was pleasant and professional. We are polite people so we just stayed quiet and kept it moving without incident. But it was overall an extremely disappointing and aggravating experience. Ultimately will not be returning, and could never in good conscience recommend to anyone.
