they don't even deserve one star. a bloody disaster waiting for weeks for night stands then jerked us around on delivery to the point of being asked to accept a delivery at midnight. DO NOT Get anywhere near this company.

With so many complaints these days - I needed to share some positives: I recently had the pleasure of meeting Nick at Ballard's at the Roosevelt Field mall, and I must say that his customer service was exceptional. My wife was looking for some home decorations, and Nick went above and beyond to assist her with her selections.Not only did Nick help my wife find exactly what she was looking for, but he also provided valuable insights and recommendations on other items that would complement her choices. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly set him apart.What impressed me the most about Nick was his friendly and welcoming demeanor. He made my wife feel like she was his most important customer and ensured that her shopping experience was enjoyable and stress-free. Nick was patient, understanding, and provided a level of personalized service that is rare to find these days.Furthermore, Nick assisted my wife with some returns, making the process quick and easy. He handled everything with professionalism and courtesy, which made the experience hassle-free. And - with so many things to do - we ended up leaving some receipts there - and - upon calling back, found that Nick had already scooped them up, put them in an envelope with our name on it - and set it aside in the office. Again, above and beyond. Overall, Nick's exceptional customer service left a lasting impression on us. His dedication to ensuring his customers are happy and satisfied is truly admirable. It's clear that Nick takes pride in his work, and his enthusiasm for helping his customers is contagious. If you're looking for exceptional service and a memorable shopping experience, I highly recommend working with Nick at Ballard's at the Roosevelt Field mall.

I went to the Long Island store on Nov 16, 2022. I ordered 4 lampshades. Three were out of stock (Really?) and I was told I’d receive them between Jan 5 - 11, 2023. Well, here we are on January 19, 2023……No lampshades and MOST FRUSTRATING….NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER (not even an email indicating receipt of my order) from Ballard. How does a home furnishing company not have a state of the art delivery communication process. Never have I ever…..

I ordered pillow 3 inserts which were too large. Upon return the company charged me an $8 return fee per item. Ultimately, gave Ballard $24 with nothing to show. Considering the size of this company, I was shocked to see how they handle returns. They just lost a customer.

I gave a 5 star review to the King of Prussia store but my online experience has been a nightmare. I ordered four runners. I received one runner and three 3x5 rugs so I returned the three wrong rugs and received a credit. Then I placed a second order for three runners to replace the wrong rugs they sent in the first order. That's where the problems (more problems) began. One of the rugs in this order was never received. I got a credit for that one. The other two were the wrong size again!!! I returned them and UPS tracking shows that they were received by their warehouse. They refuse to give me my refund. The customer service reps get confused by all the other credits on my account due to Ballard's inability to ship the correct size rugs in the first place. So now I'm spending hours calling, chatting and writing to get my $719 refund. I HAVE FINALLY RECEIVED THE RUGS. NOW I NEED THE REFUND FOR THE TWO RUGS THAT I RETURNED THAT HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED.

Order received without monogram as indicated on order. Returned. Dreadful customer service after the return. On hold on my third call inquiring about my refund. No answers. Customer service blames the credit department. Credit department blames the shipping department. Beware.

This company is a scam. I placed an order for 2 lampshades back in January of 2022, and every few months, they pushed back my delivery date. I finally canceled the order after they gave me an estimated date of late September 2022. I am a design professional who is constantly reviewing logistics for FF&E, so I'm sympathetic to COVID-related delays, but a 9 month lead time for 2 lampshades is NOT industry standard. Customer service did absolutely nothing but offer to waive the shipping fee. The expense wasn't the issue- it was the lead time and transparency. I never work with vendors I can't trust, and although the stuff is beautiful, Ballard has revealed itself to be a glorified Pottery Barn with half the level of customer service.

Don't buy a lamp from Ballard. Very cheap product. Lamp broke off at the iron light connection, obviously couldn't support the heavy lantern. Why sell a faulty product. I contacted Ballard and they were not helpful. Beware of their cheap product. There is a reason they won't stand behind their junk. See photos.

If I could rate - 5, I would. Do not purchase anything that has to be delivered from this store. There is an exorbitant delivery fee. We purchased a leather chair. It arrived unassembled in a 4 cubic foot box. The box was damaged. Ballard does not provide assembly of items sold. We were told we could return the chair, but the shipping company would require 1 - 2 weeks to pick it up. Terrible customer service. Returns difficult. If you can't carry it out of the store, don't buy it!

Ballard Designs is off the chain!!! I love their color themes they advertise their site with. A bit pricey, but their furniture every thing is dope!!!
