The store itself is fantastic however the customer service is very poor and it takes away from the experience. I frequent Coquette as it is near and has a great selection of clothing but the girls who work there need to step it up. No greeting when you walk in, always talking even when customers are trying to ask questions or check out. I usually overlook this however, when I went in today the girls were eating a full meal at the checkout desk and chatting very loudly. I could hear the whole conversation from the front of the store and the store smelled like food. I bought a few things one being a white dress I asked them if I could fold and bag my things and they looked over giggling at one another like it was a strange request. I asked this because I didn't want their unwashed food hands touching my new white dress that I am about to pay good money for. I truly did not mind bagging it myself but the side stares and the giggling was unnecessary. This place truly needs a revamp in customer service. Yes, the girls are late high school/ college age but a job is a job. I worked retail at this age as well and never acted in this manner. For the amount of money their customers are paying they need to educate their workers on customer service, this isn't walmart....

Terrible customer service employees don't even say hi or ask if you need any help just stare and avoid you at all cost. would not be coming back there.

I was in Sam's Golden Nails (which is a friendly, clean nail salon) when I asked the customer next to me where she bought her warm hat.. well, I walked right up the street to Coquette and had a blast picking out warm, stylish winter hats. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the prices were reasonable. I look forward to going back there soon! I love supporting local merchants

OHHH EMMM GEEEEE!! I love this little walkable village! It reminds me of Westchester villages with the little cafes, bakeries and boutiques. I made a little detour here on the way to my cousin's house for a play date with our kids. I love the fact that they have 15 minute parking for quick stops and as I was pulling up to The French Workshop, someone was pulling out of one of those spots and I slid right in. As I was getting my tot out of her carseat, I noticed this hot pink number hanging in the window of this really cute boutique and I decided to take a closer look. The dress was the exact same color as a dress that I bought for my daughter and I thought it deserved a closer looks because I love wearing twinning ensembles with babes. When I walked in, I had to avert my eyes from all of the cute outfits they had. The place is filled with tons of outfits and accessories, perfect for any occasion. I finally found the dress, grabbed two sizes and asked for a fitting room. One of the girls quickly assisted me and led me to one of their quite large fitting rooms. Even the fitting room is cute with a big, tufted bench. I had babes sit while I tried on the smaller of teh two sizes and luckily it fit perfectly. The dress is very forgiving, as it has many strings to adjust the fit and since I'm planning on losing some L Bs, I decided to purchase the small. When it was time for checkout, the staff was very nice. They complimented my tiny tot's sunglasses and commented that she was adorbs (which she loves). I bought a couple of cute rings they had at the counter and signed up for their loyalty program which will hopefully force me to make a return visit. The prices are standard for boutique pricing. These are pieces that you will not likely see another person wearing at an event which is nice to know. I was meant to park in front of this shop. When I brought the dress home, the shade of pink matched perfectly with my daughter's dress and the style is very similar so it will look as thought we might have boguth our dresses together. When we have an occasion to wear them, I will definitely post the picture.

This was a sweet little clothing store with great options! If you need an outfit in a pinch, you will for sure find it here. The boutique had super friendly and helpful staff even offering to steam a shirt since I was wearing it out of the store. I will for sure be back!

Cute shop! Clothes were reasonably priced and the sales woman was very nice and helpful without being over solicitous. My daughter really enjoyed shopping there and we will definitely be back!

This is honestly my favorite store. I had to create a yelp just for this store. Everything is always perfectly organized and the clothes are to die for. The staff is so helpful and attentive to the customers needs. The girls working always offer their fashionable input, as it is extremely admired and helpful. It is located on the heart of 7th street which isn't a long drive from my home. Parking is easy to access as well. 10/10 for Coquette on 7th!!

This store does have some cute clothes that are reasonably priced, but forget about getting any help here. I walk by quite often and go in from time to time. The employees rarely say a word or even make eye contact. I don't understand a store that employs people to not sell clothes. They are so unfriendly I have quit shopping here.

Walked in after shopping in town. About 5 younger ladies working not one of them greeted or even said a word after I walked around for 10 minutes. Went by dressing room to try on and again no acknowledgement so I walked in dressing room and tried on the items I wanted. Leaving dressing room again not one peep from anyone. If you're going to be a small no-name boutique at least be friendly to people who want to come and spend money. Will make sure never go there again

This is a small quaint shop located in Garden City, NY. They have lots of cute garments for sale. I tend to be on the larger side of size, and their Larges, some are too tight and some are just right! (I had to take advantage of that rhyme!) They have a wide variety of dresses, tops, pants, and during the warmer months shorts, rompers, and jumpers. They also have Hanky Panky and some lingerie as well as accessories: bags, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, hair ties, scarfs, throws, flip flops, etc. A few times, I've noticed that they have a cute shipment vehicle. It looks like one of those 19(5/7)0's bomber cars? I don't know if I even have the right era/name. I guess that'll be my little secret! If you're looking for something new and hip and affordable (dresses at $54.00!) definitely check this place out. (Some things are more pricey, but it's all varying on style and such). There are only two (2) dressing rooms, each with a curtain to shield your privacy. The hooks are on a plaque hung on the wall. Not very sturdy - so try not to smack them with the hanger in the upward position upon placing items on it. The rooms aren't too cozy; claustrophobes are welcome! There's an entrance from the front (7th Street) and the back (public parking lot/public benched area). The staff give off a vibe of trendy/preppy, but they're really nice. They also don't lie if something looks gosh-awful on you! There are no returns. Exchanges only. Only, buy something if you (or a friend) will absolutely love it! The store owners should really place up some photographs here, so people can see the calm, airy, and luminous space they get to sell their goods. Happy shops!
