I had a great experience at the Garden City store. The staff was so personable. I saw Dr. Chang who’s wonderful. She took her time and made sure I got the right prescriptions for my needs. Highly recommend this location.

horrible the girl from the front had a horrible actitud like she didn't wanted to work could even say how can i help you to welcome me . So i left i will try to find a better eyes doctor . she needs to get checked because you guys will keep loosing customers for her grumpy face

Came at closing time on a Friday night, and received superb customer service from Joshua. He went above and beyond, getting my sons frames replaced and contact the insurance company to make sure I didn’t pay anything extra. He took the time to het everything done swiftly, correctly, and with a smile.

Definitely overbook appointments and take advantage of civil service workers who have no choice but to use them. Workers very lax. Shouldn't take an afternoon/half day for an appointment. Rude people and zero customer service. Never again. Family and friends now go to Costco for their vision needs and take the reimbursement from the union/benefits. Will be doing that going forward.

This was my first time at Davis. Arrived promptly and check in was fairly easily. My appointment was changed to an hour later so I can be seen in person and the staff reassured me that I didn’t have to wait an hour. I waited over an hour to be seen and what irked me even more was that the staff were busy having fun chatting amongst themselves and I had to wait over half hour to have pictures taken of my eye and other patients who came after me were seen before me. I was hoping to switch to a local optometrist, but after this experience I will just drive the half hour to my usual optometrist than come here. Left without purchasing any glasses and will no longer come back.

Dr. Lee was great - my husband was sitting outside and said he could hear us laughing - it was a speedy process - the only complaint was Lois who was trying to get me to change frames - but Dr.Lee was a doll

Davision vision, on Old Country Road, has the best sales team. Rosanne was able to meet all my needs via text and email. I live in FL and unable to get to the store in NY. They have the best selection of frames (the local store in FL doesn't)Thank you Davis Vision

Len popped out of first frame that was rimless, switched frames to full rim, same thing within 3 months, replacement at my expense! Well they lost a long term customer! Update: I decided to stop by in person, the associate confirmed the expense but after my disappointment she spoke to the store manager and they are replacing the lens for free, obviously my faith is restored and i very grateful.

Worst experience ever. In total was there for 4 hours just to get an exam glasses and contacts. I had the first appointment of the day at 9am. Store didn't open there doors till that time, then when I got to the desk they informed me that my appointment was through telehealth which was my first problem. When I was finally started on the call with the doctor she informed me that my prescription would change for my contacts but to try a different one since they didn’t carry the one I needed. She ended up sending in the wrong prescription and the lady that finally called me to order my stuff didn’t confirm the contact order and ended up ordering the wrong one….this was 3 hours into my appointment. She got mad that we were annoyed for being there so long and just threw the glasses on the table and walked away. The next man that helped us was just laughing that we were there for so long telling is it was okay because it was so hot out. Oh and if you have insurance they will ask you for it over and over because apparently theres always a problem with that too. After all was said and done I will not be returning after I pick up my glasses. The customer service here is absolutely disgraceful, other people were in and out but they blamed my 4 hours on “short staff”. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.**Update: I contacted their customer service and was told I would get a response in 24-48 hours….its been 8 days so clearly its all for show so people think they actually care about their customers.
