It's amazing how many reviews of the DMV are 5 star. It wasn't always that way. The "New" DMV is definitely worthy of this new classification. I clearly remember gong here year's ago and it was nothing less than torture. No longer... They are outstanding. An easy drive to Oak Street from my house and there is plenty of parking for everyone. My appointment was for 12:15. I showed the guard my phone and entered. You sign in and get a number. It only took about 10 minutes before I was at the window. My issue is not simple (will not go into the whole thing) but I am transfering the ownership of a car from one state to NY. There are a fair amount of papers required and the folks behind the counter did a great job of explaining it all to me. Not a simple task but we will get this done. We have a little more work to do at our end and thanks to the thoroughness of the folks at DMV this project should be done soon. KUDOs to the team at DMV Oak street licensing center.

Service wasn't too bad, but I asked one of the managers, didn't get her name but she was an African-American woman who is pregnant behind the desk of Booth 25 or so, who was a little on the rudeside, but ask the question about my bus license and totally gave the counter person the wrong information to give me . Even though she was 5 ft away from me it was too much trouble to look at me and tell me herself and only to find out the correct information from the Levittown branch. If she didn't know what she was talking about she could have made a phone call to give me correct information. Very poor management skills

Super bad service. You have to make appointments.Never after covid 19 , I had to make appointment at DMV . Every DMV in Long Island I walk in . No not this place is really bad.

I AM IMPRESSED. I WALKED, IN RECEIVED MY TICKET AND MY NUMBER WAS CALLED IMMEDIATELY. I WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE 3 SERVICES IN 19 MINUTES! I WAS EXPECTING A TWO HOUR DAY. THE REPRESENTATIVES WERE QUICK AND GREETED ME KINDLY. WILL CONTINUE TO COME TO THIS LOCATION!

Website says appointments are not needed to take a learner permit. I brought my daughter to take her test when I arrived I was not allowed to enter the building. And was told that appointments are needed . What annoyed me is the office does not appear to be busy and I was told the website is wrong . Complete waste of time. Another example of the government doing whatever they want

The dmv has come a long way in 10 years. So quick and so polite and professional. I was shocked and so clean :) was in and out to renew my license. 10 minutes.

It was busy on a day I visited but everything was moving very fast. There were a lot of people but so are The widows assisting the crowd. I’ve arrived 1 hour before my appointment, was given a ticket and called to be helped in literally 1 min. Everyone was polite and professional, I was out in about 20 mins.

I made a reservation in advance and arrived 15 minutes prior. I also filled out the form in advance and brought it with me. The man at the bar code scanner was kind and directed me to the waiting area. Less than 5 minutes of waiting, I was called to the photograph station, took my photo then waited another 5 minutes for the representative who handled all my needs in good manner. I was out of the building in less than 30 minutes. The best DMV experience ever!

I went there , not knowing you have to have an appointment to do anything in there..anything smh. I greeted by big bird who told me to use my phone to scan the barcode which was not going through. She was Not nice at all. Very rude, kept telling me to move back when i'm trying to ask her questions . So, finally i took the number , when i got in the car i called and made a reservation on my way home; but never received a text nor email about the reservation . What do i do? i called to see if i can speak to someone but its the stupid machine...which let me to no help smh. When i called again the machine advise me that i have an appointment already, i i need to cancel it. Thats my confirmation. Hopefully, they don't give me a problem when i go because it says that i have a appointment with the date and time of that location.

For a DMV experience it was good. There was parking and everyone was helpful and patient
