We are super happy with the service and quality of the motorized shades we had Glamour Decorating (GD) install for us.We had done a lot of research ( months )and comparisons with several other shade companies prior to choosing GD. They all came to our apartment and gave us their quotes and options .We were most impressed and satisfied with Glamour dec.Specifically Jonathan at Glamour Dec was the only one who was able to find a solution for us to get a ONE UNIT motorized shade for our 13 feet window!!! All other companies told us that it was IMPOSSIBLE. That we had to split the shades into two or even three sections in order to cover the entire window. 12 feet maximum shade length is what we were told and offered by hunter Douglas and few other big name shade companies.He also offered us great quality modern stylish shades ( materiel ) for all our other rooms .We got a total of 5 motorized SOMFY shades , all work seamlessly with theMyLink APPRemote control for each roomAnd Voice Controlled by Alexa .The shades are quiet (the motor is super quiet) the looks and how it functions is just phenomenal.battery needs to be charged once a year !!The installers were also of great quality and professional. Specifically we appreciated their precision and caring for the Detail that all shades were precisely installed with no imperfections.We liked that as they walked in to our apartment they put on shoe covers , and also most of all they were able to make our longest 13foot shade fit into the elevator (it was not a simple task - but they took their time to make some adjustments to make it work . ( avoided them and me having to walk it up 18 flights of stairs)Lastly - I like that I was given the direct cell phone # of the Rep (Jonathan )so that if there’s any issues I can call him directly without having to go through generic automated 1-800 system; that’s a a huge Plus.Bottom line - we highly recommend them and Thank them for the great work.

The blinds are high quality and well made. Very pleased with purchase and installation. Jonathan was also very responsive to my inquires. I definitely recommend, and will use again.

Amazing motorized shades and seamless experience! Highly recommend using this company for any shades and I have radius windows. Super efficient installation in under 2 hours for 2 rooms!

So I noticed this place on TickTok with this girl who was very friendly and outgoing who use to work there and she be with a guy an Indian kid who’s outgoing and funny as well and I didn’t see them for a while and the positive energy was gone and I had stop going so I started going Hempstead and I use to get stared at and looked like I was stealing anyways I went to macys to do some purchases for my aunts baby shower and I was having a bad hair day and I went back to glamorous and saw the Indian kid there with some new staff they were all were very helpful there was a guy with blue hair who matched me with hair color to dye my hair And the Indian kid help me match my ponytail and there was a two short laddies One of them had help me with some lashes and glue and smiled alot and another girl ringed me out and gave me free tattoos I was happy they even recommended where to get clothes for the event and let’s just say I felt good and pretty I just say great team work ? keep up the good work

DO NOT buy anything from this store. You cannot take any hairpiece out of the box to see what it looks like. They will not exchange your item even though it says it on the receipt and will ACCUSE OF YOU BEING A RACIST IF YOU'RE A WHITE PERSON ASKING FOR SOMETHING THAT MATCHES YOUR HAIR TEXTURE. You can't even open the box at home or they will not honor their exchange policy! You buy everything sight unseen. The manager, who is also the owner's son, is a total passive aggressive psycho. He accused me of wearing the extension on Halloween and trying to return it. I called the store the day BEFORE Halloween and asked if I can get a refund. The very sweet young lady who works there told me this was possible. My mistake for not being able to make it there by November 1st. When I tried to calmly explain this, he mocked me, talked over me and told me to get the hell out of his store. I refused to leave without at least exchanging it. I asked to speak with the owner, who he claims is his father, and I was told that was impossible because his father doesn't have time to deal with "people like me". Whatever that means. ??? But then he decided he was not giving me even an EXCHANGE because the box that the extension came in was opened (how are you supposed to see if it looks right if you don't open it?) Then he called security because I was demanding an exchange. There was no yelling. No outrageous behavior. I was simply asking for an exchange. When the very kind security guard showed up, who happens to be African American, THE MANGER TOLD HIM I WAS A RACIST because he said that I said I wanted to return an extension that "better matched the texture of my hair". (How is this racist? It's a WIG SHOP.) My hair is fine, limp and pin straight. Since you are not allowed to actually take anything out of the box in the store, I assumed the employee who sold it to me gave me an extension that matched my hair texture. When I brought it home and unwrapped it, it turns out, it's pretty curly. Even the security guard had to tell the manager to act more professional and was wondering why he was even called there. The manager's behavior was bizarre and erratic. Either he is on drugs or he needs serious help. Trust me when I tell you...do not shop here. The aggrivation you will experience is not worth it.

Worst employees ever I was looking for a flavored lip gloss and I ask if it was the only one they had cause I needed the ones with the stick applicator the young lady told me no! Go Claire's in a rude aggressive tone, I couldn't believe she was so rude I'm sorry for the store owner he's losing business.
