My response to this Chris I from Hampton's Appliance.. NO.. no furniture needed to be moved to bring in the fridge.. Your disrespectful delivery men put the new "refrigerator " on my brand new area carpet without asking or notifying they were going into my formal living room. You should consider talking to your valuable customer. I have no reason to lie.. I invested my time and my hard earned money and I wanted a success story. Instead of admitting how bad your service is you continue to LIE and make excuses. Your path of mistreatment of customers will catch up with you... For the record I have central air condition and it was on along with my indoor ceiling fan... instead your horrible delivery man laid his entire body on my freshly painted hall walls... He commented he was leaving the dishwasher near the entrance and I insisted he put it back in the kitchen for the installer.. The installer was professional and I was happy with his service. Love your customers.. treat them like you would want to be treated. Your company is horrible regarding my experience and the public should hear my side.. not the lies and arrogance you're showing. Shame on you. They're much better places people to shop for appliances.. where you will be treated well and respected. Don't spend your hard earned money in a place like this. Don't get disrespected like me in your own home.

Bob was extremely helpful and took the time to find the right AC unit for my existing sleeve. He called me back after doing research for me and explained everything. The major retail stores I had been to were very dismissive and gave incorrect info.information.

My contractor recommended Hampton Appliances when I need to buy all new appliances for my renovated kitchen. My contractor said they were the best company to deal with, so I knew that he had already properly vetted them and had extensive positive experiences with them over the years.I dealt with Frank and from my very first conversation with him he was generous with his time, answered all my questions, sent me images and links of different appliance options, etc. He literally knew everything there is to know about every single appliance he sells (and even those items he doesn’t sell). He also advised me on which items would soon be discontinued and which companies were about to raise their prices. He always had his finger on the pulse of what was going on with appliances.Once I made my selection I received a quote without ever having to go to their showroom. After confirming the quote and paying a deposit I called back often changing my mind on different items and Frank was very patient and helpful. I once said to him “you’re never aggravated when I call you” and he said “because you don’t aggravate me, I’m always happy to answer your questions and modify the order”. He was simply amazing and a real pro.Frank also kept us abreast of when each item arrived to their showroom and the lead time for other items, like our Sub-Zero refrigerator which took 16 months to arrive, I kid you not.I have told everyone about Hampton Appliance and there is absolutely no one better than them.

Hampton Appliance in Garden City always provides personal service and great advice. They are so knowledgeable about all brands of appliances. Their top notch staff don't try to sell you what you don't need, like I've experienced at other places. If you want a true partner for your home appliances, Chris and his staff are the only ones in New York you can count on. Other places always make you feel like they are just trying to reach their quota. I don't feel like a "quota" at Hampton.

in my opinion not the best attitude towards customers.i went there the week before memorial day looking to buy a premium outdoor grill, i asked if was possible any type of discount since it was an expensive item the salesperson David told me he could have delivered before the weekend so i have a nice bbq also would ask the manager for a freebie like a cover or something else , rthe answer was no freebies and no delivery till the week after , so i decided to spend my money somewhere else. sorry David

TL;DR: buy your dishwashers somewhere else.We purchased a high-end Blomberg dishwasher after it was recommended by the sales team (Bob) in October, thinking it’s better to support a family business over Lowe’s or Home Depot. The sale was completed and they scheduled the delivery as well as the install with their installer. On the day of the delivery, the machine was handled very roughly. After the machine was installed, it turned on but the door didn’t register as closed, so the installer banged on it while assuring me that his decades of experience in the business proved banging on it was normal. After mashing the buttons and finally giving up, he said I should contact the store the next day to get a replacement and that he would leave the box with me for the return.Called the store the next day and they said they didn’t have extra machines stocked at the store, so I would need to contact their supplier in NJ. After getting in touch with the supplier, they said before replacement they will try to repair it. Two weeks later, a technician came from NJ to repair the machine, only to tell us it was installed incorrectly. After a few minutes, the door closed and a cycle was able to start. He then gave us the advice that next time an installer can’t get it to work, don’t accept delivery. Have them take the machine and ask for a refund. The installer and the store both failed to mention this.Unfortunately, it doesn’t end here. When the cycle the technician started finished, the bottom of the machine was flooded. Technician came back at their earliest availability (two weeks later) and determined the front panel was faulty. It was obviously a factory-defect or damage caused by the installer during delivery, but they still wouldn’t give us a replacement. Instead, they decided to order a replacement front panel all the way from Turkey ?? so that they can come back to repair it.It is now February 2022 folks, that’s FOUR MONTHS since the purchase date and we just received an update that the part had shipped out of Turkey. Next they have to come back, replace the part, and I wouldn’t be surprised if something else magically goes wrong. Just the logistics and technician salary could’ve covered three replacement machines! And not have wasted so much of my time.Save yourself the trouble and buy from a larger business. 10/10 would NOT recommend.Funny thing is I got a letter in the mail from Hampton asking if I wanted to purchase their maintenance plan. HA! Maybe I’ll think about it when my damn dishwasher actual works. Feels like a scam, honestly.

Be prepared for hard sell on their favored appliances. We were told that the brand we preferred was not available until we were adamant that we did not want their suggested brand. Suddenly it became available. The installer flooded our kitchen. What a mess . Goodness knows what he did under the sink but we went scrambling to locate the house's water main shut off.

Terrible terrible terrible service from the service department Laura who has been there LONG ENOUGH TO CARE?No one deserves to be treated like this after you spend $10000+ for appliances. I am take my next business of ordering 2 Sub-Zero fridges to other dealer. However the Sales team especially Vincent has been very helpful. Hampton Major is a family owned business for many years, but maybe they are too busy and too successful to care for their existing/repeating customers, what a shame. ??

I have used Hampton Appliances for all my major purchases for the last 10 years. I am very satisfied with the service and "no pressure" attitude by the staff, specifically Vincent Comito. They take the time to answer all my questions and maintain an interest in customer satisfaction even after the purchase is completed. Their prices are always competitive with all independent and big box retailers.They always act in a professional manner throughout the sales process. Even the trucking company they contract with did a fine job with the installation and removal of the old units. I'll continue to use Hampton appliance for my appliance needs. They are not a big advertiser but you should check them out.

I recently purchased a refrigerator at Hampton appliance. It was delivered two days later! Salesman, Dave, was knowledgeable and helpful. In the past, I have purchased entire kitchen appliance packages here and never had a problem. Would definitely recommend!

I bought a stove from Hampton Major Appliances - it had to fit in the existing space and match the existing gas and electrical hookups. Hampton was able to tell, from the model number of the old stove, what new stoves would fit exactly. The whole transaction was over the phone. And voila! They delivered on time, the new stove fit perfectly, and I would not shop anywhere else for future appliance needs.
