We three ate here today. Tony, visiting from Ireland, and I each had the 1/2 rack of ribs which we both agreed was excellant, fall off the bone good. I had as my 2 sides collard greens and corn. Both sides were very good, seemed to have a slight pickled flavor and went down easily. She had the pulled pork sandwich, which she found excellent to include the thin bread, and she had to have the bread pudding for dessert, which was topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, so we had to help her finish it as it was too big for one person! Definitely the best rib place for both ribs and sides, we look forward to returning. The interior may seem a bit small but in the good sunny sumertime they have outdoor seating for well over a hundred diners. There's plenty of free parking, it's all located in the area behind Fairchild's Funeral parlor. The service is friendly and timely. Do yourself a favor, if you like ribs, you'll like the SmokHaus.Parking: Huge free parking lot behind behind the restaurant

Brutally honest review:Bought the 1/2 rack of pork ribs with coleslaw and macaroni and cheese.Total waste of money! Worst food I have ever eaten. Disappointed.Ribs - extremely fatty skin invested rack with barely any meat. The ribs were overcooked, tasteless with bare minimum flavor. They threw a mediocre watery sauce on top which taste like watered down heintz bbq sauce. Ive had better ribs at a street fair and believe it or not a buffet then this place served. From 1-10 Definitely a 1.5 out of 10.Macaroni- the macaroni looked like instant kraft Mac and cheese. With a watery cheese glaze on top that didn't even stick to the Mac. Taste like mac n cheese u put in the microwave. 2.5 out of a 10.Coleslaw- no Coleslaw dressing on the mix. But doused in vinegarette type of liquid. A tossed it in the garbage. 1 out of 10Being I only took 2 bites of the ribs I will be feeding the stray cats or racoon the food ... they eat anything ... but if it's still there tomorrow morning we got our answer.Service was very good but the cooks need to be reevaluated. Gordan Ramsey services needed here

My son loves it, I found it extremely salty. I tried the pulled pork sandwich, I would give that 5 stars. The pastrami however was almost inedible because of the excessive salt.

My friend and I came to Smok-Haus around 4:15pm on a Sunday. My friend has celiac and strong dietary restrictions, and the food at Smok-Haus has been alright! My friend mentioned that the owner has personal experience accommodating dietary restrictions, so you may want to consider Smok-Haus if you're looking for a gluten-free option. The interior is homey and like a typical bbq place.I got a classic haus bbq sandwich with pulled pork ($13), and my friend got the double play sampler with pulled chicken, pulled pork, fries, and slaw ($16). I thought the prices were very reasonable, and I would definitely go for the sampler when we return! For my sandwich, the pork had decent flavor and was tender and juicy. I think great pulled pork can stand alone without sauce, but I wish I had gotten sauce. I guess it's not something that automatically comes with the meal, so I have to remember to ask for it in the future. My friend enjoyed the food, and, most importantly, didn't get sick!I feel like bbq places are meant to be family-centered and warm. Service was missing a bit for these elements. There was one check-back and no water refills, and I felt like the overall vibe could have been more welcoming. Nonetheless, being gluten-friendly will keep us returning to Smok-Haus!

Went in a Sunday for lunch. Brisket was cold and dry - corn bread was cold - ribs were not good - way over priced for the quality.

Went here for the first time last night with my son and grandchildren for a quick dinner. The food was very good. We had Philly cheesesteak., Wings with dry rub(I wasn’t too crazy about the texture of the dry rub, but it tasted good. We also had the hottest wings, fries, mac & cheese. We also had the appetizer a special dip with chips it was excellent! Service was good, atmosphere was nice, relaxing and comfortable l. The temperature was perfect. It was comfortable clean. We will definitely be going back. They have outside tables and chairs for the summer which would be an awesome evening evening dinner out in the warmer weather

Place looked nice and service was decent but food was subpar. Went as a group and nothing was stellar. Wings were ok at best. Got the pull pork and it lacked flavor. Tried putting the sauces on throughout while eating and that in itself wasn't that flavorful either. Was expecting more but a bit disappointed with the food.

We had lunch here with a bunch of guys. It's not a huge restaurant, but there's plenty of parking. I think a party of 6-8 is the largest you can do without a reservation. I highly recommend the brisket and if you're with a large party, go with the "varsity" or "majors" combo so you can try different things. Service is great here, so if you have any questions just ask.

The absolute best place for BBQ on long island. Been making my own BBQ for years, but when I don't feel like making it I go here, the only place on long I will go to!!!
