“Yet another fantastic experience at Franz led me to finally get around to writing this review. They truly care about their customers. I had an appointment to change over my tires to the summer set and they called me to tell me they couldn't do it because my summer tires were too worn and it was a safety issue, as they knew I'd be taking a huge road trip shortly. They then did NOT charge me for the labor, despite my protests! Rose spent some time going over my options for appropriate tires given my driving habits and terrain, and at the very end of the day to boot! And this is just the typical standard every time I go there. Cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“We were towing our travel trailer to New Hampshire on I-87. During a torrential downpour we our tire went flat. The wonderful emergency road service technician diagnosed our problem but was not able to fix it on the highway. He called ahead to Midas and escorted us to the service center. Midas was about to close, but Ted stayed late to change our faulty valve stem. We were helped by two wonderful individuals. My husband and I were really impressed with the service, knowledge and willingness to work late to help us. Many thanks to Ted and the MidasService Center in New Paltz, NY!”

“Can’t say enough good about this place. My son goes to school at SUNY New Paltz and is 100 miles away from home and our mechanic. This is the second time we have used Main Street Auto but yesterday’s visit was absolutely over the top unbelievable. All of a sudden every light in my son’s car lit up. The check engine light, cruise control, and the anti skid light were all flashing. Not only did they take the time to diagnose the issue, instead of fixing it for him they told him he could fix it by going to Autozone and buying a new gas cap. They don’t have to do that. They could have easily told him just about anything and charged him 100’s of dollars for something that cost $20. And to top it off they didn’t even charge him to diagnose what was wrong! They didn’t have to do that. They went over and above. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and again!”
“Honestly five stars isn’t enough for this place. I brought my 08 Tahoe to Healey so many times and spent over $13,000 throwing parts at it only for them to tell me “well it might just have a bad engine” I was recommended to take my truck here and I am so glad I did. The guys took the time to investigate and research what was actually going on with my truck. AND THEY FIXED IT!!!! She runs beautifully now! Do yourself a favor and take your vehicles here. They are honest, caring and extremely fair! Nobody else will ever touch my truck again unless it’s here. Thank you guys so much!!!!”
