This company threatened to fraudulently charge my credit card after I canceled there service and moved there tank to the end of my property for easy pick up. They have never inspected my tank and my new company said we had 3 leaks. They’ve charged us multiple $400 emergency delivery fees in order to deliver propane sooner than 2 weeks after running out in the mid of winter and told me verbatim “You don’t have any leaks” when I inquired about how quickly our tank was running out and if they could come inspect it. The lady Karen (yes seriously her name is Karen) who I hope you never have to speak to, is just an awful customer service person and has no business dealing with the public or representing a “professional” business. I call them Crimlin. They have been sued by the town of Gardiner which should tell you everything you need to know. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this horrible fraudulent company. If you have them and value your families safety PLEASE contact another company who will take leaks seriously. I genuinely have concerns for anyone unfortunate enough to have Crimlin’s shotty work on any gas lines in or around their home.

When signing up, I was told that they would always come out if I ran out if I had auto delivery. I did, but they forgot to put it in the computer, I ran out of propane and they gave me a hard time about coming out on the weekend because propane isn’t my primary heat (which was discussed before I signed upwith them). They eventually agreed to come out. I asked for the owner to call me back, and this “family owned” company couldn’t be bothered.I terminated service in mid December, they said that they would remove the tank by mid January. Now it’s February, and they say it will take up to three more weeks for them to remove the rank because they’re too busy.Update:The date they claimed they would definitely remove the rank by has come and gone, and it still sits on my property waiting for a pickup. Another broken promise seems to just be part of their business model.I called again and they advised me it could take up to an additional two weeks. What the person on the phone and the person who replied fail to understand is that it is not my responsibility to store their equipment indefinitely until it is convenient for them to pick it up. This sense of entitlement is clear speaking with them and in their reply below. It is their responsibility, and if they need more personnel, they should hire them or pay them overtime. As for after hours deliveries, I have no problem with their policy, but they misrepresented it when I specifically asked the question before signing up with them.Interestingly, when I left a voicemail taking myself off auto delivery so I could terminate service, they sent someone to do a delivery on a Sunday, apparently hoping to lock me into another tankful of propane. I guess that was important enough to them.

When you finally have enough and get rid of them, they won't timely pick up their tank and seem think that they're entitled to store it in your property for months on end and continue to make promises to pick it up that they break. When I cancelled in the middle of December, they said it would be locked up by the middle of January. In the middle of January, they did not pick it up, I called again and was told it would be picked up by February 21. I called again on February 23, and they told me they were too busy and would pick it up within two weeks. They seem to feel that they are entitled to free storage for as long as they want. If they don't have enough personnel to handle their customers and pick up their property, they should hire more. It is not my responsibility to store their property indefinitely, regardless of what excuses they make. I asked to speak to the owner, and was told he was "off site"... so much for the small family run business they claim.

I was having difficulty with my new gas range that was purchased from a big box store that wouldn't help with installation and gave us the wrong parts. Kimlin was amazing at making sure my family was safe, got us the parts we needed, and got the problem resolved quickly all while providing exceptional customer service. I highly recommend working with them.

We are on auto delivery. We called last night three times and left messages explaining that we were without any gas and heat. The weather is in the 20's. No one returned our call. Early the next morning we called and they apologized saying that they have been backed up and the delivery will be made today. It's now 4pm and still no delivery. I called yet another time and spoke to a rude representative named Karen. I explained to her that I have my mom who is 76 years old with health issues in the freezing cold. All I asked was for an ETA on the delivery and she proceeded to give me so many excuses while her tone of voice went up. I think the service at this company needs improvement and the fact that they have paid customers in their homes without any heat in the middle of a freezing winter is really bad. As soon as our contact is up we will be leaving this company.**Update: the owner Max messaged me and was very nice. He came by and gave us some gas while we wait for the delivery. He even gave us an ETA and explanation as to why there was a delay. He mentioned that the representative shouldn't have spoken to me like that and apologized.

We ran out of oil sooner than expected. Kimlin went above and beyond to get us oil the next day. Thanks Zach and team! Nice to have our loyalty rewarded.

Kimlin has been great to us! I called in for a delivery before my tank got too low and they came out and filled me up in a timely manner. very grateful. I have always paid my bills on time and ordered fuel before my tanks get low and we have never had an issue with Kimlin. Thanks for keeping us warm

People considering Kimlin as their home/commercial energy provider should know this, so I will be brief. I signed on with Kimlin last year for my propane. I also need kerosene, so I had Kimlin replace my tank, and worked on a contract for kerosene delivery in June. After several iterations, we finally agreed on a contract. The contract called for an initial delivery price of $4.99/gallon. However they listed a delivery time frame of only a week from the current date. I asked the individual doing the contract (Cristina) that I apparently needed to have delivery right away. She told me that Kimlin did not have any kerosene at that time, and would not have it until the fall. I suggested that the contract date should be modified, and was told that that would not be necessary, and Kimlin would never alter the contract price due to the fact that they were out of product. Trusting "Cristina", and not wanting to redo the agreement, I thought she was being honest with me. I still do. Huge mistake. Trust no one, and get everything in writing. I called Kimlin back in November for a kerosene delivery and was told that the price was now $7.99. After explaining what had happened during the contract process, I fell on very unsympathetic ears, and basically told, "tough luck", as they jumped all over the date on the contract, making me think that this bait and switch was a carefully orchestrated scam that Kimlin runs on a consistent basis. Impressive if you think about it. I once heard some say, "Honesty struggles to recognize dishonesty", and that fits here. I then contacted Cristina, and she apologized profusely for the error, tried to get the pricing correct, but could only get it to $6.99/gallon, making me think of another saying, about "Don't feed me crap . . . " Cristina apparently did not have authority to make and enforce contract terms. I was told that the price in November was now much more expensive. Knowing the industry, Kimlin purchases their energy contracts off the futures market, and they profit from the margin of difference between what they buy kerosene/propane from the energy futures market, and what they can sell it to their customers. They've paid prices for kerosene at much lower prices than the $4.99 they first offered. At this time, they overcharge customers in the winter, due to the demand. They could certainly afford to make this situation right, they simply choose not to. I was silly enough not to insist on modifying the delivery date, so they have me based on the current contract language, even though they manipulated the situation to charge me $3.00 more per gallon, Upset, but wanting to give Kimlin every chance to make this obvious injustice right, I wrote a long letter to owner, Max Kimlin explaining the situation in mid-December. After one month, crickets. He apparently is not concerned with his, or his company's reputation. I really hate to have to go through social media to air a grievance, but I have little choice, and it is extremely important for all consumers to understand the company they either deal with, or considering, before making a decision. Kimlin is a duplicitous, corrupt, enterprise, and I simply feel it is extremely important to make honest homeowners aware of this.

They will let you run out of propane in a snowstorm to be able to charge you for an emergency delivery.Been waiting well past the 7 - 10 business days. They take so long to deliver, they have to charge you a second time because the hold on your funds expire, so make sure you order 2 months in advanceThere's always an issue with billing l, but I'm stuck with them until my contract expires. There's plenty of other providers in the area. This should be your LAST option.

The customer service from Kimlin is uncommonly professional. They responded quickly and allayed my fears. This is an excellent group of people and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend them without reservation.
