We were next in line. Great table by the window came open. They then gave it to a couple who came in after us without a reservation and told us they’d give us the next table in the back. When I asked why they gave away our table, the hostess just shrugged. Horrible treatment. Unfair and unprofessional behavior.Update: this is a very nice offer below. We all make mistakes. We may come in again. Thank you for the response.

This was our first time at Dolly's. Choice was based on convenience to a near by art opening.Boy we were surprised...The front of the house, and wait staff were the epitome of hospitality. The menu, while appearing simple is actually very sophisticated. Dolly's chefs (and kitchen line) are not only creative; they deliver outstanding dishes, perfectly prepared.We can not wait to return for the rack of lamb and more superb prosecco!Parking: Located within walking distance to the Garrison Center for The Arts. Even on a cold winter with a spectacular sunset, the parking was as great as the meal *truth be told timing may have been part of it, we arrived early for a 6:00pm seating

I've been wanting to go since you opened and while it took a while, it was well worth the wait. The food and drinks were well thought out and prepared and the staff was attentive and had an understanding of the menu that allowed them to provide insightful recommendations about the order. We will be back for more.

We drove 1 1/2hrs to arrive here and it was worth the trip. Sure, we came up during October so the colors were magnificent along the way but the best part was our destination, Dolly's. Perched over the Hudson River the restaurant is right next to the railroad station and has ample parking. With a huge balcony its outdoor seating is cozy and practical for people desiring a live view of the river and/or West Point. The main dining area is shared with a small bar, a few refrigerators and the entrance to the kitchen. The seats a bit lower to the grown than I would care for considering my height but none-the-less-comfy along with the stainless stee; table tops. Several are up against the large wrap-around windows so getting there early is highly recommended so you can be assured of being seated next to a window. The appetizers are just great and we chose the fried mushrooms w 3 types, sansho salt, and lemon wedge, Fantastic. Would have loved them to have it as an entree! I ordered the Dolly's cheeseburger deluxe on Martin's bun with dill pickles and a pink sauce which was outstanding. The accompanying fries are delicately battered and fried in very fresh oil. Very tasty. My wife had the Crispy fish on potato bun which was fried in the same olive oil/beer as the mushroom app. The cheeseburger came in at $25.00 while the fish sandwich at $24.00 They had a substantial wine list by the bottle and an adequate one by the glass though most of the latter were priced a couple of bucks higher than expected. Upon finishing we indulged in some coffee and left very satisfied without feeling we overate. The evening was memorable also from the fact our server, Jenna, was absolutely the best. I always went crazy when servers pass your table by without checking to see if you need anything else. Jenna was always checking on us even as the place got busy this late Sunday afternoon/evening. She was just marvelous and even went along with the bad jokes emanating out of me. Thanks Jenna - you're the best!

We stopped by here for burgers after a long hike. Sat on the terrace, four people and three dogs, enjoyed fantastic burgers and beers, with kind and efficient service. Terrific view and feeling. Thank you!

Came here back to back nights - amazing food and drinks! Staff was very friendly too. Great place for a river view, with healthy and fresh food options (and vegan). Ordered crispy cauliflower (highly recommend), heirloom tomatoes, veggie burger, red lentils, salads, desserts, and drinks.Dolly’s, don’t change a single thing!
