My dog has been coming here for about two years or so the staff has always been really kind to me and my dog. We usually just go for yearly visits or vaccine boosters so I’m not really familiar with all the vets I know we saw a different vet last time we were there (a few months back). We were there yesterday and my dog was treated by Dr. Marr i expressed to her that I thought Marley had a uti due to strong urine smell and frequency and i wanted them to do a urinalysis. They did a urinalysis and a ultrasound about 10 minutes later they came back saying they needed another urine sample because whatever reason I said sure after waiting about 15 mins Dr. Marr came back in and saying they couldn’t get the machine to dilute Marley urine because they didn’t have enough urine and her urine was very dark she wanted to keep her for a few hours to give fluids and try to get another urine sample which I expressed my concern on what was going to be the estimate for all of this because she was just throwing things and treatments at me and before doing anything I wanted to know how much was everything going to be. Everything was coming out to 400 and something and there was charge of 32 dollars for fluids so stated well that is a bit crazy i will take her home give her water and bring her back with a full bladder to do the sample they ended up giving me a cup to collect the sample myself and bring it back. I was unable to bring it back the same day but i was planning on bring it the following day after work (which is today) but I received a message from the office stating Dr. Marr said I will have to bring the sample back within 24hr to be free of charge mind you I already had paid 55$ for the urine so technically it was not free or charge. I Wrote back to the message saying it was not my fault the machine couldn’t read the sample or whatever the case was and that i will be there by 3:30p and if that was an issue I will need a refund for the urinalysis that I already had paid for. I didn’t received a text back so I called at 3 to make sure I can still bring the urine. Dr Marr got on the phone which she was the rudest most unprofessional physician I’ve ever encountered in my life and proceeded to say that she was doing me a favor by running the urine because my dog is very sick. I said I’m sorry to cut you off but you’re not doing me a favor i paid for that and she said i need to fix my attitude because I continued to say it was not my fault her machine couldn’t read the urine long story short she said they will be sending me my dogs records over so i can find elsewhere to go and hung up on me. So now I don’t get my money back for a urinalysis that they charged me for and their machine couldn’t read. Dr. Marr go take some customer service classes because clearly your education doesn’t make up for how unpleasant you are.

We’ve been taking our two Gordon Setters and cat there since Dr. Gene retired and we’re very satisfied with the care we’re seeing with our pets.

They are always kind and considerent with me and if I have a question or concern they are right there on the phone and ready to listen anywhere else you go they are quick to listen and judge but they hang up on you and you they don't have the time to talk they answer the phone and hang up to quick at least Genesee Valley veterinarian is listening and making sure that your pet or family member is Safe and comfortable and always happy living the great life

Dr. Marr seems knowledgeable overall in the physiology and science of disease progression in animals, however speaks to you like she’s reading from a text book with no soul or empathy. Her bedside manner is extremely lacking. I was in tears, in the middle of asking a question and she looked at her watch in frustration, saying our appointment is long over. I will be going elsewhere for this pet and future ones.

This place is horrible, they have no bedside manner when it comes to putting an animal down... they are rude and extremely judgmental.... and if your not careful and have an old animal say barn cats they will call the humane society on you... I wouldn't give this your business there are soo many other vets that actually care for animals and people... and when ur animal is dying they ask to do more blood work to make more money! They have gone downhill since the lady vet took over!!

Dr. Marr and her staff are so friendly and professional! We travel 45 mins to see Dr. Marr. Our fur baby has very high allergies of everything under the sun and she has placed him on meds that have helped tremendously! The staff is so friendly, every time one would come out and saw me in the waiting room they'd said Hi. I highly recommend Dr. Marr and her staff to take care of your fur babies!!

Get a second opinion. They lie, rip people off, price gouge (big time)!!! Even other vet clinics think they should be shut down because of the lies they tell pet owners and the outrageous prices they charge. DO NOT TRUST their diagnosis. Get a second opinion for sure.

Dr Marr and her staff are always welcoming and kind when we visit there. I truly appreciate all that they do to help me care for my elderly cats. They are thorough and responsive, and I feel like we are partners in their care.

Dr. Marr and her staff go above and beyond to give my dogs excellent care and to help keep me informed about their wellness and their needs. Staff are helpful and scheduling has been easy. It's been a good practice to use for my dogs' care over the past year. When two of my dogs were in training classes during the canine flu outbreak, they went out of their way to locate the vaccines that my dogs needed. I really appreciate their professionalism and care of my dogs.

We had to put our 16 year old dog to sleep and the doctor was amazing. Very compassionate and caring and she made a bad time a little bit better.

The front end staff continues to be delightful. Unfortunately, the medical assistance I've received with my kitten resulted in the fruitless expenditure of over $3,000 dollars over the course of two months. Watching the techs man handle my elderly dog to get a simple blood draw was painful to watch.

Love this place. Hate the front door if trying to carry a cat in a box let alone two it's tough to navigate without lots of bumping. Road sign is hard to see from a distance. Be careful of speeders on main road as you pull in and out.
