The folks that work there are nice, but the prices that they want for items that are broken, damaged, or worn out are starting to get ridiculous. The manager needs to review the pricing that some of these workers are doing, or reevaluate the price that they assign to specific items. Especially if there's not even a complete set of something, or if it's been damaged. It shouldn't be priced like it's brand new on eBay. The people that come there every week to look for stuff for flipping, are starting to know this and not go to Goodwill and go to smaller more local thrift shops. This is happening to all Goodwills across the country, it's Not just Geneseo. Thrifters all over Instagram and tiktok are bashing Goodwill on their prices, so if this Goodwill is smart they'd lower theirs real quick

Just left Geneseo Goodwill and had to share the experience. After there were 15 people in line and my companion politely asked if there was anyone else who could open a register, the cashier who was assisting a customer called for a specific person to come up front. That person came in from outside where she had been washing windows, complaining that "its never this busy when she works Monday by herself" and also as I was leaving , she is still continuing complaining to the point that she never even got her lunch she was supposed to take 10 minutes ago. Why was she washing windows then instead of taking her lunch?
What's happening to customer service in a service oriented job, like Goodwill? In fact, that person was showing anything but good will. And I am not the only customer that was complaining.

Fairly typical goodwill, but they recently unorganized all of the books. It's really annoying to have all genres just piled together on the same shelf

Man at donation center rolling eyes and looking hateful several times when I was dropping off items at the donation center. Makes me uncomfortable to take things now. I will take elsewhere.

Linda who works there is an outstanding lady...she cares for people and takes the time out of her busy shift to help customers. She deserves a raise big time best associate I've ever come across.

This is by far my favorite goodwill around! Something about the location or locals gives it a great variety of real antique and almost new items, I’ve found like-new anthropologie and madewell clothes, as well as antique furniture worth a few hundred dollars that only cost me $7-$10. Definitely check out the wooden item’s section, there’s usually a gem or two in there. Staff are nice and helpful

There clothes were kinda weird smelling, which would be fine unless your sensitive to strong smells.

Very well organized store compared to some goodwills I've been to. I love to thrift and I can always find something to buy. My favorite section is the knick knacks in the back. They have a great selection of pants and jackets along with tops and bags, and even books. I love coming here because I can usually find something that I need or want. They don't have too much jewelry all the time but that's okay. Customer service is amazing and I will continue coming here <3

Store seems almost empty in spots. They need to clean! Prices are getting too high for what they have. Used to shop quite a bit, but not anymore.

This is the third time I've driven all the way here to drop off donations and it's closed early for no reason, staff sitting in their cars, laughing and smoking pot.
