About National Warplane Museum
The National Warplane Museum is a true historical masterpiece and an absolute gem for history lovers. The staff and volunteers are welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and intuitive about the extensive warplanes from WWII, Cold War, post-Cold and modern era. People see a nice piece of history the W7(C-47) that dropped paratroopers in Normandy. People also see static plane exhibits and replica planes built by pilots. The museum is a kid‑friendly, must‑see experience with a great gift store and a traveling Vietnam Wall Memorial that was present during busy days. Admission is adult $10 and child $4 as of September 2025. The place is great to spend a couple hours, to take few photos, to talk with the group of people who run the museum and to see an amazing collection of aviation stories and anecdotes. A great place to recommend.

Unfortunately we were in the area on a Tuesday and the museum was closed. We did circle the parking lot and take a few photos of the static plane exhibits outside of the museum. Hope to make it back up here one day.
