Drove over an hour to look at a Sequoia that was posted on Facebook Marketplace with "No rust" in the ad.
Shiny freshly washed pics in the ad. When I got there, I was told that his "painter" was "In the hospital" and didn't "fix the scratch" on the driver's door that was actually way more of a big baseball sized dent with missing paint and rust on that spot.
Looked under it and the frame above the rear differential was all rusty, with actual rust holes in the subframe, the rusty parts to the outside of the frame near the outside where one would see were painted with black spray paint to cover the rust.
I then respectfully told him that it wasn't something I wanted because "It was more of a NY car than I was looking for.".
And I could have left and wasted my day at that.
But I wouldn't have followed this lead if the initial ad didn't lie and say no rust.
Lot full of demo derby cars, spray painted to look appealing to unsuspecting victims.

Showed up to buy vehicle off Facebook. Was advertised as no issues after messaging the owner. Showed up and the vehicle had many issues that were hidden in photos via misleading angles. Told him I’m not buying it and he blocked me on Facebook. Refused to refund my deposit for the vehicle as he claimed “no refunds” only after I declined purchasing the vehicle. Was also greeted by a drunk employee out front.

You buy a car from them, and if it is damaged and you have a warranty, they will not fix it, they only sell scraps, I do not recommend this place.

The service was excellent, I didn't have to go to the DMV for the boards, they did the entire process, I lived 45 minutes from the dealer and they brought me the car to my house, the car is in perfect condition, very grateful for their services, I recommend them 100x

Just bought a mint condition bmw 335i from these guys. Super smooth transaction. I never even went to the dmv, i got the title and plates within an hour after paying for the car. Even gave me a loaner to take to lunch while they did an oil change. Beyond 5 star service. Highly recommended.

do not buy a car from these people. you cant trust them. bought a car the brakes were so bad, i asked them how this car pastinspection, i never heard back from them... dont by a car from them. DONT BUY ANY CAR FROM THIS JUNK YARD.

I purchased a vehicle from them a little over a month ago. A day or 2 after my purchase I noticed my emergency break suddenly hanging; the front passenger tire had a slow leak and after fueling up it doesnt like to start unless you flood it. I called and they didn't take or return my call. I brought it to a shop today because it stalled on me in traffic 3 times last week and upon inspection of the vehicle my mechanic discovered the emergency break lines have been cut. This vehicle was CLEARLY passed through inspection ILLEGALLY! After looking up the shop who performed the inspection and combing through his reviews there was reference to a similar situation with this same dealer and that same inspection location illegally passing unsafe vehicles through inspection. This man lied about changing the oil and handed me this car without doing any type of maintenance. He is selling junk and screens his phone calls so as not to have to answer for his crimes. Both this shop and GILS AUTO REPAIR will be being reported to the proper administrations so as to have their dealer and inspection licenses revoked! DO NOT BUY!
