Update. Taking a star away because i dont like the owners response. Also reading the reviews bad experiences are common here. Maybe if you spend less time responding to comments and more time IN the store. First impressions are everything.
So we went in here and dropped nearly 1200 bux. Not only did they make that rather difficult but. Turns out, they gave us the wrong parts. Then rushed us at the loading dock. Tbh i will avoid this place for life lol.

Very disappointed with the customer service. My father visited and waited 20 minutes for someone to help him. He finally found someone and asked if she was coming to help him and she stated that she was not and that it was “ slim pickings” around there for help. He then had to get all of his stuff himself. On his way out he sees the girl standing and talking with 2 other coworkers. Yet they were all too busy to help. He spoke to the girl at the cash register about this and she seemed frustrated with this as well. This was 7/9/24 around 6pm. This employee needs to learn better customer service.

My elderly parents bought a new refrigerator last week and paid for it to be delivered, installed and removal of the old refrigerator. They came on Friday to deliver the new one and said they couldn’t touch a copper line and refused to do anything. The new fridge was left in my parents garage ( still in the box ). This was such a disaster!!!! Called Lowe’s(Geneva)on Sunday and was treated so rudely from the front end manager Mary!!!! She wouldn’t even talk to me on the phone so I decided to go there in person. She was extremely rude, didn’t care about the situation. The only good thing to come from this was Butch went above and beyond and took his own vehicle and went and installed the fridge. Worst experience!!!!

My $5000 item was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I waited all day with my dad (the item is a surprise for him) and when it finally came past the latest time in the ridiculous 4 hour delivery window - I called this place THREE TIMES ALONG WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE (HUNG UP ON ME “EXPERIENCING ISSUES”) JUST TO FIND OUT THAT NOBODY KNOWS WHERE MY DAMN $5000 MOWER IS. Nobody is being helpful, all I have been told is “hmmm, hmm, I think the truck broke down” UuHHMM???? Okay so why wouldn’t the delivery service reach out to me? And why haven’t they, since I left my info yesterday when I called this store??? Whelp, called again today during the evening after hearing NOTHING just for the lady (who sounds like the same one I talked to yesterday who had nothing to tell me besides for guesses as to what could’ve happened) to say that she doesn’t know where it is and once again it’s the delivery teams prob. LOWES WHERE IS MY MOWER??????? I’ll pick the thing up myself at this point and then NEVER trust yall with an item that expensive or any order at that again. I’ve never had an issue like this before. NOBODY CAN TELL ME ANYTHING…

Shawn (or maybe Sean…sp?) in the hardware department is excellent. He helped me cut a huge ginormous piece of plexiglass this afternoon and did so all by himself, while sweating, due to how huge the piece was. But he didn’t complain, and didn’t quit until the job was done. Hey Lowe’s… this dude is a keeper and honestly deserves a raise. Some of your other employees seem a little lost and almost clueless, with a shrug and giant question mark on their face when a customers ask for assistance. But not Sean! (and or possibly “Shawn”, not sure… didn’t see his name tag!). Also, I lost my receipt or I’d call and give a gleaming 10/10 star review.

Stopped in to get material to replace my roof,after almost an hour and asking 4 times for assistance, nobody would show up even though 2 guys were at the end of the aisle with a forktruck left and went to the competition,and got immediate and friendly service
