“Been stopping by Hodge Podge since 2011; cannot list the stuff I bought over the years…from Catskill Mtn collectible S&P shakers to a n old barn door I made into a coffee table . Almost too much to take in! Actually bought his chairs from his dining room table; vintage signs, early shutters so much more.”

“What a local treasure! Enjoy some self care time dedicated to fun and creativity and learn something new which can give you joy for years to come. Risa and her staff are so helpful, gracious, and kind with their skills. The shop is beautiful, well stocked, and you can even enjoy live tutorials and shopping events from the comfort of your home when it suits your schedule. Live events, however, are a welcome part of re-emerging from social isolation so I can’t recommend them highly enough!”

“I found a beautiful hand painted Limoges platter here for a very reasonable price. As an amateur collector of Limoges, it was a treat to find a unique piece. I was also admiring the impeccable handmade lampshades and the shelves of fabric and trimmings. The old world atmosphere of this jewel box is perfect for anyone who loves antiques and history!”

“Ray's shop is wonderful! If you're fed up with the crazy high prices for vintage cloths at all the new Brooklyn shops in the area, you should check this shop out. She has been in the business for over three decades, and it was a joy to shop here. Lovely woman, lovely stuff!”

“This place is massive. It’s like four Costcos in size. Took nearly two hours just to do a walk thru. They have everything from furnishings and vintage clothes to giraffes and hippos…and the kitchen sink too! As with everything within a few hours of the city it’s pricey to over priced but a few deals can be found. But to be fair the quality of the pieces is high. It’s like walking through a museum. You won’t find cheap junk here. Highly recommended.”

“I love the clutter of delicious things and homewares in this shop. It's complete entertainment for your eyes! We were there for quite a while because there's a lot to look at and you feel like you don't want to miss anything!

A great spot for gifts! Especially your food and kitchen enthusiasts.

The owner was very engaging and helpful. We got some tinned fish and potato chips.”

“Lovely shop! Filled with cute little pieces, well priced. Wish there were a couple of more options though to choose from, less clothes, and more housewares would be awesome.”

“The best service that retail can offer. Impeccable store and assortment of home, accessory and clothing. Owners are present and beyond pleasant. Zak is great and went way above helping me load heavy items. I wish I lived closer i would shop weekly. Online updates are a great way to stay in the loop w inventory and new arrivals.”

“Lots of restored antique lighting. Not cheap but nice stuff and nicely rewired. Prices are firm. Tight store. A little overwhelming when trying to choose fixtures for your home. Owner is a little funny about anyone going in the back room where the bulk of the inventory is. He must have his reasons! Maybe people steal or break his treasures. We bought a couple of fixtures. He packed them very well. They work great and really enhance our 1810 home. Cash or check only. No CC. Will likely shop there again.”

“Pat and Stephanie are 2 of the nicest people I've met. Their store is a hand tool woodworker's paradise. From planes, chisels, gouges, saws, tool chests and much more, you could easily spend all day inside the place. The enclosed picture is an example of their stuff. This is my private collection and almost all were purchased at the store, including the chest.”

“I spent an afternoon looking at everything in this antique store & found some amazing things. What a find! It was my first time & I’ll definitely be back. Dan was so friendly & fun to talk to, his booth had some great designer items with inexpensive price tags. My favorite piece was a Murano glass bowl. I also picked up some Kaws plastic toys & a gently used John Derain tray. So fun.”

“One of my favorite antique shops in Hudson - they have such an beautiful, unique and diverse collection. The shop owners are also very kind and knowledgeable. We always stop by here whenever we are in town!”

“I was visiting my friend who lives in Beacon and she raved about this shop. It was raining on our trip to Hudson which was a bummer, but she sure was right about this divine shop. The pieces are creatively curated and displayed, making this a photographer's and artist's dream come true - meaning moi. The woman working there was very friendly and even thanked me for asking if I could photograph pieces. Some things were expensive, but I also saw items that were quite affordable. This is a must-stop shop if you're in the area. A word of advice due to the tight spaces and breakable glass and china - leave your backpacks in the car!”

“Great place to sit outside at picnic tables with drinks for a spring summer evening. Dog friendly. They serve food and adjacent to the building there is a great seafood cart (in the same area) with great Lobster Rolls. Enjoy!”
