Terrible store. Lines are long because there is always only 1 cashier. DG - hire some people.

I have a Verizon/ Dollar General Refillable phone card that I add value to each month. Tried to add value this month and the cashier told me the DG system is having issues with not being able to process Dollar General /Verizon phone cards.. cashier was nice , gave my credit card a refund. HE was a little surprised when I told him I had a Dollar General re loadable card and I had NO idea where to re load the cards value if a DG store can't process DG cards. Thankfully I didn't take MY DG card to TOPS .. DG needs to stop selling phone cards that they can't process.. ONE more reason to avoid DG

Well stocked. I did have a manager blatantly follow me everywhere throughout the store today. I know I shouldn’t take it personally, as I’ve worked retail in the past and had to do the same thing myself, but boy, is that obnoxious!

The Dollar General in Getzville, New York is awful. Yes you have to ring a bell to make purchases and customer service is terrible. All the employees at this store should be fired. I have also heard their employee Judy calling customers retards and John is especially rude with customers. There are often long lines to make purchases. The district managers Melissa Cierechowicz and Mark Ranney should also be fired for allowing this store to be poorly managed. I have decided not to shop in Dollar General stores ever again. I agree a Price Rite should replace this Dollar General. Even an ALDI store would be better.

I should not have to ring a bell to make purchases. A Rite Aid nearby this Dollar General has much better customer service. Even though their prices are higher, I rather shop at the Rite Aid.
