“This store is family owned. I know this because the very friendly couple behind the counter got into a very pleasant conversation with my husband after they saw his baseball cap. Virtually every time I walk in this tore I am greeted by whoever is working and help is offered. If you just want to walk around and peruse-that's cool too. It is conveniently located near restaurants we like to frequent and there is always ample parking. They are alway offering coupons in The Clipper which are terrific, (when you remember to bring them. Lol.) I did read something about a mobile text app for additional discounts but was in a hurry unfortunately. Will definitely check it out next time. The selection is good as are the prices. I would say they are competitive with "big box" types of stores, with shorter lines, less hassle, and a friendlier vibe. Today, more than ever, I like to support smaller businesses whenever possible.”
“Great local spot for a wine run! It focuses on wine but offers other alcohol selections. I spoke to the two that work there and they are very knowledgeable, kind and helpful.”
“Staff was very polite. While walking around looking at wines , I was asked if needed any help. At the check out, I was asked if I found everything, if I wanted a box for the bottles that I purchased,, and if I needed assistance, carrying my purchase out to the car,The selections of wine and price was very good!.”
“It's a liquor store, what's there to say? I can tell you the staff are always friendly and helpful and they have an enormous selection considering the size of the shop.”
“The staff here are very friendly, and always happy to make a recommendation or discuss your options before making a selection. They have a really nice selection, and their pricing is on par with anywhere I’ve been. I also like that they have a rewards program so you can build up points towards future purchases.”
“Solid selection, great prices, especially if you have a need for a bigger bottle for a party or something, usually great value on most of the brands to get a 1.75L for not much more than the 1L.”
“I was able to find a Robert Mondavi there and at a good price. Good variety, staff was helpful, the place is clean and everything is nicely divided so once you walk in you can clearly see in which direction you have to go to find the section you need. Overall a good option.”
“Great Customer Service... Love It!!!
I highly recommend Lincoln Square Wine & Spirits.
You want to try a great cream liqueur... try Crema de Alba. It's great for a Christmas gift.
Crema de Alba is a cream liqueur based not on whiskey (well known Irish creams among others) but rather on aged Spanish brandy. This implies a kind of oak-driven vanilla/caramel sophistication to the cream with a light wine-like character.”
“The best owner and workers ever, anytime I go in here, everyone is so cheerful. Never been to a liquor store where the workers can create such an amazing/welcoming environment. They have the best selection of wine/liquor. Definitely my go to store!!”
“Prices can be a little high but you will probably find what you are looking for. It's Wegmans but a liquor store. Similar vibe and quality of customer service from general staff. Loss Prevention can be overbearing, even more so than in the grocery store.”
“I've recently made an effort to expand my wine knowledge and palate. A close friend recommended checking out Brighton Liquor, and it immediately became my favorite wine merchant. Dan is always incredibly helpful, sharing his knowledge of producers and regions I'm interested in, and always has great recommendations at any price point. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and unpretentious. Prices are reasonable and they have an excellent selection of older vintages - highly recommended.”
“—They are closed!—
We have been returning customers for years. It’s sad that the tariffs announced earlier this year, tariffs that changed in percentage and their start date, made it hard for many family owned businesses to order and have anything in stock especially when 80%(guesstimate) is foreign like with alcohol. They filed for bankruptcy on the 16th of July. We just want to say thank you for all the advice and service ♥️”
“Fattey beer is a great place to go when you are looking for a casual atmosphere. Huge beer selection, with non-beer and non-alcoholic options as well. The mug club membership is a steal and you get a lot of perks for the cost. The fattey patty chicken sandwich and chips combo for $7 is a bargain you won’t find anywhere else. Teresa and the rest of the staff are always super friendly and knowledgeable on what they have to help guide you if the selection seems overwhelming. They are constantly doing fundraisers for local charities, support other small local businesses, and are dog friendly! You can also bring your own food in and even host an event there.”

“Always friendly and helpful! My first go to stop for wine and spirits ~ asked if they carried Monkey47 and they did not. Sabi ordered it for me and the rest is history as we all enjoy a good Monkey cocktail now in North Buffalo!”
“On The Rox Is our go to for that bottle of Red, Deep Eddy Vodka, Jack, Knob or Patron to name a few of our favorites. Gotta love this family owned liquor store! Easy shopping in and out and I don’t have to walk through an entire mall size store and wait in line to have an unknown person cash me out. Skip the Pin!”
“Love this place! It's great to have a local supplier of all things brewing! They have a great selection of grains and speacialty malts on hand. No more online orders, shipping charges and having to wait a week to get them. You can buy everything you need to start brewing this weeknd...what are you waiting for?”
“Great local place, along with their abutting liquor store. Has good prices, but the selection is great. Plus, the owner is a great guy with lots of knowledge about local history.”
“A family-owned business with a great group of staff. They know how to create a welcoming environment, and are very helpful. Also one of the largest selections of wine and spirits in the area.”
“Black owned family run good communication no confusion demanded respect and that respect is returned they know their customers and turn away no one. Bufallos East Sides Finest.”
“Owner really cares about what the customer is looking for. She's very knowledgeable about wine without talking down to the customer, She's very pleasant & easy to talk to. Plus, she's so darn good looking.”
“This is my liquor store. Has been for years. A little further from me but I love the service. The owner is often there and always friendly. The employees are knowledgeable and nice. I like to ask random questions about things and they almost always have the answer. When they don't they admit it and don't just try to BS. Which I respect.”
“I recently visited Star Liquor and Wine, and I have to say, it’s hands down the best liquor store I’ve been to in the area. I was greeted by a friendly staff who were eager to assist without being overbearing. The store itself is clean, well-organized, and offers a wide selection of spirits, wines, and craft beers.
Their wine selection is exceptional, with a great variety of reds, whites, and unique blends. I found a couple of fantastic bottles I wouldn’t find at most other places. The liquor section is equally impressive, offering everything from well-known brands to rarer, specialty bottles. If you cant find what you are looking for, they are very accommodating in supplying you that liquor if able to do so.
Great local business to support!”
“I had been searching for a Super Tuscan that I purchased 2023 while living in NJ. During my relocation to SC, I had to leave several hundred bottles of wine with an NJ friend. I enjoyed this wine so much that I had to locate. Based on the price increase, it appears a lot of others enjoy this wine as well. During the beginning of my research, I could only locate two shops located in California that are selling the wine. Both shops have the wine priced $20 per bottle more than I paid during 2023. Pretty steep increase at $240 per case. Finally and fortunately located this website. Great pricing and easy to navigate website. Placed the order and wine shipped within 24 hours, and without the $240 markup.”
“Staff is very pleasant n helpful. They have "998" n "999" wines! 998 Broadway was the Sattlers Department store, n 999 Broadway is the Broadway Market.”
“The owner Joe, is one of the main attractions of this place. He is a through and through, Depew native who has proved himself in his past businesses and present. It’s on your way home stop to all the neighboring towns. There’s a wide array of Wines and Spirits. If they don’t have your choice of liquor, they will do their best to get it for you. Last but not the least are the Sales personnel who are warm and go above and beyond to assist you.”
“The owners are the nicest, friendliest people I had the pleasure of meeting. The store is very clean and their prices are very reasonable. I would definitely go back!!”
“Excellent service. Internet orders for pick up fast and smooth. Discounts applied. Large inventory. Plus "Kevin's Wine of the Week " as featured on Speil the Wine on prominent display”
“If you've never been to consumers, it's your one stop shop for soda deals and different types of beers from local brewerys to limited edition beers and for good prices.”
“I absolutely love this new liquor store . The owner and her son are so friendly. The mini bottles are $1. Best price in town . The store is spotless. Very clean and inviting”
