Art Omi is a non-profit arts center located in the Hudson Valley, offering a unique blend of art and nature in its 120-acre Sculpture & Architecture Park. Visitors can explore over sixty sculptures set amidst rolling woodlands and wetlands, making it an educational and enjoyable experience for all. The park is clean, tranquil, and provides ample opportunities for photography. The visitor center serves as a welcoming hub, where guests check in and find information, restrooms, and limited snacks. Although there is an entry fee, visitors can choose to make a donation instead. The park is open Wednesday through Monday from dawn until dusk, encouraging visitors to spend at least two hours to fully appreciate the artworks and beautiful landscapes. Art Omi also hosts rotating exhibitions in the Newmark Gallery and offers residency programs for various artists, promoting engagement with the local community through an arts education program. Many guests leave feeling inspired by the thoughtful placement of sculptures, the knowledgeable staff, and the overall atmosphere that encourages connection with art and nature. Very impressed by Art Omi - had some really nice works across their sprawling campus. It took us a couple of hours to see all of the pieces - awesome spot if you're in the area!

Pleasant to be outdoors but the art mostly didn’t move me. Nevertheless there were a few site-specific pieces that had interesting relationships with the surroundings. I didn’t photograph my favorite because it was about being in it, rather than looking at it. But here are some cool ones.
