Decent place. Good for the price. You need to reinforce the allowing people to work in with you. Other Members are extremely rude. I asked to work in and they said no. I reminded her of the rules as written on a sign on the wall to let people work in. She then proceeds to complain to a female front desk woman who was nothing but rude and was raising her voice telling me she doesn't have to share the equipment if she doesn't want to. Then I was falsely accused by the woman working out that I took a picture of her. I showed the woman at the front desk on my photos and my deleted photos that simply wasn't the case. Your staff can also be a little more outgoing. No personality at all. They don't smile or have any empathy. Very low EQ. Cannot read the room or hold a conversation. They barely say hello or answer any concerns. They sit on their phone and don't even look up at you. One of your employees I saw a few times playing a game on their computer. More professionalism needed at your front desk. You also need to have a rule that if you are between sets and on your phone, you should step aside. Also no using two pieces of equipment at once during peak hours. Its got good equipment and clean but management needs to get it together.

The gym has a lot of equipment. The gym music is horrible for motivation, that may just be me though, no bass drops just weird to me. Doesn’t feel like a gym. Feels like a place that people a lot older than me go to work out. Some juice heads trying to intimate people in here as well. Can’t say I stay long. There have been gyms I’ve spent 4 hours in. This is not one zi can do that in. I would say 30 to 45 minutes at most. All other options nearby have closed since Covid.Pros- I can get mad enough to lift heavy and the gym staff in the late night are open to a little bit of conversation.

I wish I could give more stars but they only have 2 machines for leg press and they charge a separate fee for maintenance but the machines are 25% broken. For women is very hard to get access to leg press since it’s mostly is used by men.

I finally decided I needed to hit the gym. I've had a membership since ??? In and out because of injuries. This time, I had back surgery. I list the drive to go.Luckily, I saw the sign for the personal trainer.I've been training with Anthony, and I say thank you for giving the push I needed.Don't forget to request him.

I came here w a 1 wk guest pass. I only went 2 days. The machines are terrible and they are lacking equipment .The people that go here don’t have good gym etiquette. They spend more time on their phone than actually working out. One guy told me he was supersetting. I asked him what are you super setting your phone? Cause you been staring at it for the past 10 minutes. Another time a group of kids huddled around his friend who’s on his phone on the flat bench. Very rude people. I come to the gym to work out as quickly and efficiently as possible. I don’t have time to sit there and watch you on the phone and navigate around people because it’s a Social Club! This place is a romper room. The main problem is no rules are enforced. I think the only thing that Gym has going for it is that it’s open 24 hours four days a week.

Very unhappy they do not allow you to cancel membership unless you come in. It's a scam in order for you to not be able to cancel easily. Would rate it better if they allowed me to cancel.

Honestly, probably not going back. I did my free trial week to find somewhere to workout that's close to home at a reasonable price. This isn't my first gym, so I have an idea as to which machines do what. Upon entering, there was nobody at the front desk to greet me or check me in (I probably could have just walked right in and began working out, but I waiting until someone came to help me). They suggested I hang my coat up at the coat rack next to the entrance door, which I found odd because usually there is a locker area I can put my things. The gym was pretty overwhelming, and the space was not very open so it seemed to have a cluttered feel. If I was new to the gym, I would feel very overwhelmed, confused, and intimidated. Not very warm and welcoming. It seems like it's been there forever and some of the machines are really worn, overall the entire facility looked like it needed a refresh and a deep clean. Cleanliness is the first thing I look for in a gym and this definitely wasn't the cleanest. However, there was a large variety of them so you'll be sure to find something for every type of workout. Variety wise, you get a bang for your buck. That being said, the pros don't really outweigh the cons for me, so I probably won't be returning.

Nasty little girl working on Saturday mornings! Refuses to help, refuses to turn TVs on. Said they don’t work then said you can’t have TVs on at 7:00 in the morning. ! Bring back Ryan!! This kid is disturbed!!

Been here for the total amount of 14 years, First I was member of Planet Fitness and Now it's called Glen Cove Fitness, same people A n t o n y and his crew always do their best to keep the Gym clean and organized. The machines don't stay too long in the " Out of work" time. I give 5 stars because it's got what I need and I am comfortable with it.Every business needs to improve and that's no doubt that some people will complaint or even worst gossip about the negativity of the place but one thing is true, this Gym was the only on in the city of Glen Cove to survive a Pandemic and keep everyone safe during tough times.I just hope they never guard down on service and cleanness.Thank You ?
