September 2023, I came to North Shore Honda (Glen Cove location) to trade in my Toyota 2018 for a Honda CRV. Vinny was my salesperson. Rich Cerami was the finance personal. To make a long story short, when in the process of going over the numbers and sealing the deal. Rich tells me "I am giving you a warranty." YES, those exact words. At the time I don't think much of it because I'm thinking he is gifting me a warranty for buying a car from him. A few days later I get my first bill from the bank loan, and I notice that it's more than what it should be. I start doing the math and looking at copies of paperwork. When I come across a paper I signed for the warranty and on the top, it states the warranty cost $3,500. Of course, Rich never mentioned this, he made it seem that it was a gift, by him using the words he used. And while I was signing, he covers the top and gives you a summary of what you are signing, and I trusted that I was signing what he was saying. But that's my fault, no matter how long you been in the dealer's office take the time to read, lesson learned. People cannot be trusted especially not Rich Cerami. Rich was very deceiving, and he knew exactly what he was doing. I would not recommend doing business with someone like him. Go somewhere else.

I cannot speak more highly enough about this dealership. I forgot I had to get my car inspected by the end of June and here it is, July 3rd, so I called up my Honda dealer at 7:00 a.m. and got Michael Doucette, in Customer Service, who was at his desk that early in the morning. I asked him for an emergency appointment and explained my situation. He was able to squeeze me in around 3:30 that afternoon. All I can say is that I was very grateful to him and I could not thank him enough, and thanks to this dealership for accommodating me. Thank you, Michael Doucette, and thank you, Gary Schwimmer, Sales Manager, for managing an excellent dealership. Very grateful and blessed.

Buyer bewareNorth Shore Honda do not honor their signed agreed prices on leases .Recently picked up a 2023 CRV Ex with a signed agreed COD price only to be up charged with a bogus Bank Fee and added 1st month payment by Valerie in finance and Gary the sales manger. They play a shell game with the numbers , when you go to pick up the car.Very disappointed as I thought I was a valued customer of theirs .

I researched the car I wanted on line. I knew exactly what I wanted. They reached out to me telling me that they had it on the lot ready to sell (February 2023) We live in the South Shore so it was a bit of a commute to get there, but being that they had the car we ventured. Only for them to tell us that the car was sold. But not to worry they were waiting for a shipment, again, with exactly the model and color I wanted. After calling and calling our salesperson, Rich, who promised that the car would be there "any day" we finally received the car this past MOnday. Four months later! What made it worse was that Rich perhaps called us twice to keep us informed. We had to consistently call and "nag". We also ordered the liner and cover. We were told it was on "back order" so I guess four months wasnt enough time to make sure they had it. Rich told us that he would bring it by on Wednesday, yesterday, still nothing. No call to apologize, no call to let us know what happened. I called him and left a message but I know he will not return the call! I cant wait to be done with this dealership! We have always purchased Hondas. They are great cars. However, I will NEVER visit this dealership again.

Scam artists! Joe the used car sales manager with Richard the finance manager have a well oiled "extended warranty scam" they try to perpetuate. Very dishonest people! Daryl, Gary, Cory all scam artists!

This place is full of thieves. Atrocious financing offers, "included" services that cost thousands of dollars and false advertising of prices. We were lied to multiple times about terms of our car our purchase. Truly one of the worst car buying experiences of my life. Never shop here, don't step foot in the door, never even load up their website. Absolutely the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with in my life.

We went to look at a car on Tuesday. We thought about it and then wanted to come back on Wednesday but were unable to come back on Wednesday because the salesman was leaving at 3 o'clock . If The salesman had said to us if you guys wanna hold the car I need a deposit, we would've been more than happy to give them money at least a credit card over the phone. We came back today , Thursday, May 5 and were told after we sat down after we looked at the car and the sales person said let's do the paperwork, that the car was sold. The sales person never bothered to even look to see if the car was sold this morning. It was no sold sign on the car in the car and the keys were freely given to us. this is so unacceptable and so unbelievable I would never ever suggest that anybody come here. I did call and spoke to the manager Gary and this was maybe 10 minutes after we left the dealership he said he already knew about the problem. According to the sales person who worked there for 23 years if we hadn't given a deposit they couldn't hold the car for us?

Mr. Conrad - Since North Shore Honda, Glen Head New York is a Honda franchisee, I am hoping that you can assist in the resolution of this matter. I am sure that dishonest dealers are a negative reflection on your company. On October 4, 2021 I purchased a Certified used Honda Clarity PHEV Touring from North Shore Honda along with a vehicle service agreement for $2850 underwritten by the Zurich Insurance Company and I cancelled the service contract with Zurich on November 18, 2021, well within in 60 day full refund cancellation date. (I have since replaced it with a genuine Honda Care contract). North Shore Honda claimed that this was the official Honda Service Contract, but underwritten by Zurich, which we all know is a lie. Under the Zurich contract, I should have gotten a full refund ($2850), but instead North Shore Honda submitted a check for a refund to Santander Consumer (the holder of my auto loan) in the amount of $565 which was cashed by Santander on 12/13/2021. Santander was supposed to be able to apply the full $2850 refund to my auto loan. As of today, 3/12/2022, the missing $2285 has still not been received by Santander. Based upon the Santander interest rate for the loan, the outstanding refund since 12/13/2021 is accruing interest of $0.9065 per day, or about $91.00 to date, bringing the amount owed by North Shore to about $2376. North Shore Honda claims that the $2285 that they stole was a "cancellation fee". There is no such fee mentioned in the Zurich Contract or purchase invoice.

Price is good, nice & good quality car. I got Certified Pre Owned Honda Accord 2017. Sales person Cindy is really helpful and nice. Service is really good, they give multi inspection when you go there for oil change. Free tire rotation and free inspection as well when you buy your car there. Just be careful with their other charge like over charged filling fee & registration fee, extended warranty, and Gap Insurance. The Finance guy tell me that the Gap insurance is required by the bank/lender, but the bank told me that they don't know anything about Gap Insurance means no requirement to get GAP insurance. Please take a look carefully all the charge and ask the breakdown before you sign Retail Installment Contract/Bill of sale. The interest also way too high over there. Check with the current auto loan interest

Avoid this place - shady and slimy dealership practices. They took advantage of my elderly father - he went in, wanting to lease a Honda CR-V EX (MSRP is $31,380). Him and the salesman agreed on $35,380 (+$4K dealer markup because of the shortage, I get it). Additionally, he traded in his previous car, a VW Tiguan, for $10,000 (currently for sale on the dealership's website, for $15,995). HOWEVER.. When it came to meeting with the finance manager, Val, she took it upon herself to jack up the price to $38,625.34.. and then added another mysterious $996.93 charge, bringing the gross capitalized cost of the car to $39,622.27. Let's break down this "deal": * $12,170 down * $289.92 for 39 months = $11,306.88 * $21,966 balloon payment Add all that up and... $45,422.88... for a CR-V EX that had an MSRP of $31,380 (with no add-ons whatsoever - no extra accessories, nor warranty/maintenance packages)? Where did this extra $14,042.88 come from? Well, let's look at this a little further.. The dealer markup was $4,000, so that leaves us with $10,042.88. My dad's trade-in was valued at $10,000. They essentially stole his trade-in by rolling it back into the cost of the car. Now, yes, I get it, it's the responsibility of the buyer to read the paperwork before signing, but as I mentioned before, my father is elderly, had a lot of numbers thrown at him throughout the day, and had spent nearly 7 hours in the dealership trying to get this car. However, the fault does not solely rest on his shoulders - this incredibly slimy and dishonest dealership should face consequences for taking advantage of people like this. Please, dear readers, look at this situation and understand the tactics this dealership uses. Do not do business with them.

Recently visited to inquire about some additional information Re: my Honda Fit Lease. Staff could not be bothered to even get up and offer any direction and/or information. Bad/Poor attitude from the entire sales staff. Grade: F- Thanks for making us feel unwanted: Scram / Go Away Is it possible to be both appalled and disappointed at the same time? The answer is: Yes! - Don't even waste your time. I've always had better luck heading east to Huntington Honda or headed north to Keeler Honda (Albany) - I'm serious. Way better deals!
