They did my hair when I was 16, so a couple years ago.I have curly hair and they did an amazing job. It was black cherry & followed through with a blowout. Unfortunately I live far from this salon but figured it’s nice that I remembered this place!Service: Blowouts

Lana, you have no idea how happy you made my daughter! Her words, "it's the first time I'm getting my hair colored and I'm not crying". You did such an amazing job blending the colors into natural looking sun kissed streaks. A true artist You know as a mother what it does to our hearts to see our kids happy. I hesitated at first to allow her hair be treated chemically. By the end of the day I want her to have the freedom to be who she wants to be and be wise in her choices. She did her homework, researched best hair colorists in New York and indeed chose wisely. Thank you very much!

I found this salon by using my husband's Yelp account and I am posting my review through it as well. I visited the salon after waiting 5 months since my last haircut. I needed that time to allow the last haircut to grow out. I was given an appointment with Barbara who was very nice and friendly. She took the time to speak to me about what I wanted and a lot of time cutting/ styling my hair. The results were amazing, but most importantly, exactly what I wanted. Everyone at the salon is super nice and friendly and the salon itself is beautiful and clean. I am so happy to have found a new salon!

I'm very happy with my haircut and highlights from Barbara. She clearly knows what she is doing and listens to the client. I've tried several salons in the area, and Shear Bliss is the best I've found. A keeper!

I called on a weekday and spoke with Barbara (the owner). She was so attentive and genuinely interested in what I wanted/needed from a stylist. I had been disappointed with my hair color for a while and desired some dimension and "wow" factor. She set me up with Terry, who was unbelievably sweet and so so talented with color. She sat with me and discussed our options- I was currently red/violet, wanting some more dimension and brighter tones. In retrospect, I was pretty vague. But, through my muddy description, what she gave me was even better than I imagined!! I ended up with a gorgeous fade from red/violet to rose gold... I'm in love. I got gorgeous color, and the atmosphere was so delightful. I know a lot of women who desire to not only pay for beautiful hair, but also get a relaxing "salon" experience with excellent customer service. You'll get that here. It's so hard to find a new stylist, but I'm oh so glad that I've found Terry! :D

I called this morning and got an appointment in the afternoon with Terry for a cut. When I got there I asked if she could also color my hair and she very graciously said of course . I am very happy with the service she provided and the atmosphere of the salon. If I lived in NY I would be a forever client! Thanks ladies !
