Pretty big Stop & Shop store with ample parking lot shared across all the stores here. Flowers section as one walks in on the left. Veggies and produce on the right. Aisles are clearly marked so easy to find what you are looking for. If not, the staff is there to help. Always look at the sales on the weekly circular and clip the digital coupons. If not already a Stop & Shop member, sign up as it's free and earn points. When here, come to pick up specific items either for upcoming holidays - e.g. cabbage sale .29/lb with coupon for St. Paddy's Day. Check out options - self-check out or the register. Since I only had a few items, go on self-check out items. If any issues, the staff is there to help. Easy peasy, 1-2-3, pay and on the way. Bring your own shopping bag if you plan to buy a lot else pay for the ones they have or the re-usable shopping bags.

So I'm in line checking out and after I've paid I asked for a bag to put the groceries in. No bags. If you want some you can buy these for $1. Oh, thanks, but no thanks. I put my 30 items in my basket and found a employee sitting on a counter. You have any bags? No, outta bags, maybe tomorrow. No help with groceries? No. Maybe a sign saying "no bags" ? Lousy service and attitude. Looking for a new supermarket. Nothing special to begin with.

The store is always very clean and has everything you may need. There are 3 can/bottle return machines and they all work well. The man running the machines is super helpful in getting all the bottles returned and making sure the machines are empty. I usually self-checkout when I go and the staff is efficient and patient when I encounter a problem. Overall, a very nice grocery store.

Customer service has had a nice run. Now that Patricia is back it's terrible again. She is so slow and in la la land. Frankly I can't believe she still works here.

Now that the King Kullen in Glen Cove has closed, we have no choice but to go to this supermarket. It is disorganized and regularly smells like fecal matter. If you ask an employee where you can find a certain item, you get a cold, dead stare or they send you to the wrong aisle. The clientele is human garbage who wear pajamas in public. What a horrible supermarket!

This store is not what it used to be!!!!! Things we used to be able to get are no longer available. Worst of all, the long term staff that I've seen here for 30 years are unfriendly, don't help and just have a nasty energy towards the customers. 2 employees in particular!!! I honestly ask myself, why the F'ck did I come here again every time I come to this store. I need to check out that new grocery company here on LI!!!! To add, your produce sucks because you purchase the lowest priced produce, the fruits and veggies that will die soon. Shame on you guys! Oh and btw When I visit my friend in PA the Giant stores suck as well!! Start caring about what your selling to us customers over profit.

I have attempted to visit this location on three separate occasions at around 10:50pm to 11:05pm ranges in time. It is extremely annoying that an establishment advertises its open until midnight and have the doors closed by 11:05pm. If you're going to close at a certain time, advertise your hours as such.

Great customer service. This review is for Ian at outdoor recycle center. Ian was a 20ish young man. I could see Ian was very proud when he told me he spoke two languages but most people ignored him when he offered help. When Ian offered me to get a receipt from a recycle machine that went on sudden strike I was very grateful! Because I was about to give up. Ian went to customer service along with me and retrieved the receipt. It was a beautiful sunny Fall day.... Thank you Ian for making the day even more beautiful! The store is getting much better look and food supplies than ever before except the hot food bar. Customer service is great. Those ladies are often helpful, cheerful and positive.

Just bought a jar of herring in cream sauce, got home went to open it, it was spoiled, open and moldy. They wouldn't exchange it. I understand the issue with the virus going around but selling rotten food is just un exceptable. I would not recommend anyone shop at this stop and shop or any other one until this epidemic is over and they can restock with fresh unspoiled and unopened food but then again I'm not sure if that would even make a difference.

Unfortunately the lowest rating one can give is 1 Star...if I was able to, I'd rate this dump negative 10 Stars. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! The meat is consistently putrid and spoiled and anything they cover over expired stickers. Even items like boxed cereal are sketchy...we pulled a box of cereal from the shelf and the bottom corner was chewed from a rodent. I wouldn't go back to this store again even for a box of garbage bags. Disgusting!! Almost as bad as King Kullen!!! Pathetic that a large community like Glen Cove has two crap supermarkets.

I ordered some deli meats at the little kiosk when you enter the store. It said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I took my time picking a few other items I needed and in about 20 mins it was announced over the speaker that my # was ready at the deli. I went to get it only to find about 10-15 customers waiting and only 2 people working behind the counter. Not only was my order not ready, but the one called before me hadn't been done. I don't blame the 2 people working behind the counter, they were doing the best they could do. I phoned the manager while I was waiting to tell him that they could use some help. He said thank you I'll take care of it. I waited there another 20 minutes for my order and no one showed up to help.

I'm being generous with two stars; one and a half would be most appropriate. Went to buy a couple of things today. Peppers were listed as priced 4 for $$$$. When I went to cash out, they were priced per lb. What's up with that? Worse though, was the frozen ice cream freezer. Everything was melted. I saw the manager who said, yes, the machine needed to be restarted this morning. (I read that to mean that it was out of service most, if not all of the night.). It will all be re-frozen by this afternoon and anyone buying the stuff might be in for a rude awakening. The ice cream and frozen yogurt may not be dangerous to eat, but they sure as hell will not taste good. But, that is par for the course for this Stop and Shop.
