“I had a passport appointment at the Bronx location today because it was the only appointment available. I traveled all the way there only to find out that the passport employee didn’t come to work, so appointments weren’t being honored. Unfortunately, I never received any notification that my appointment had been canceled.
After that, I came to this post office hoping they might be able to fit me in as a walk-in. Thankfully, they did! The passport agent was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. He made what started as a very stressful day into a great experience.
Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to help. If I lived closer, this would definitely be the only post office I’d go to. 😊”

“I love this post office. The staff is always in good spirits and they’re ready to help with any issue. The gentleman there always greets me with a smile and is quick and efficient with my packages. I ship a lot because I have a small business and I will always choose USPS. When I came in with a bunch of orders the other day no one sighed or looked upset they were ready to scan & get me to my next errand. They really know how to get a long line down fast while giving each individual customer care and time. Great job guys!!”

“The good news is they unlock the door a few minutes early. The bad news is they don’t open until 11AM! 11-7.
But they offer plenty of parking in front of the building, plenty of help on hand, and very pleasant workers. Also a do-it-yourself shipping service in the lobby. ♿”

With the highly aggressive competition from private firms with huge corporate funds, we appreciate that a taxpayer funded government institution is subject to budget cuts, and often local Post Offices are not given the manpower they require to keep up with the demand on their staff. “I don’t know how the rest of the facility is, but my experience was With a wonderful lady named Vanessa if you’re looking to get your passport done ask for Vanessa she’s awesome. She will literally guide you step-by-step. Answer any questions and you have she won’t look at you funny or look at you like you’re stupid. She’ll actually be helpful and kind and compassionate about it I’ve been to a lot of government facilities whether it be the DMV again the USPS traffic court, ect. I always leave saying the worker was always mean or rude or was just not welcoming at all. Vanessa is the opposite”
“Came here a few minutes before closing to deliver a very important package that needed to be postmarked on that day. The fee was $2.85, but I only had about $1.80 on me. The nice lady still let me deliver the package. I'll be forever grateful for how they treated me that day.”
“This is an incredible building for a post office but I'm very concerned about the ceiling falling down the town really needs to come together and raise money for them to get it repaired for the history and for the countiue use of the building by the USPS”
“Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”

“Great location and service. It's a plus since the wait times are not long at all in this location since it's not as populated. If you're in a hurry to mail something out and you're in the area, I'd suggest checking this location out. They only allow one person inside the actual office at a time because of COVID and since it's on the smaller side.”
“I can’t believe I haven’t ready written a review for this post office yet. Nigel has been my go to post office expert for the past two years. He is very knowledgeable and fun to worth with. Also, he carries the best variety of stamps around - shout out for the cute limited edition ones”

“This morning I called the Fulton Ave Post Office and asked for help finding a lost package. Both of the gentleman I talked to on the phone were kind, efficient, and helpful. An hour after I called, the missing package magically appeared. . .Thanks to their efforts. This is without a doubt a 5 Star Post Office!”

“The things supervisor 'Mike' has done for me deserve 10/10 stars.
My express package was lost, somewhere in transit. Within an hour of speaking with him, and him sending out emails and faxes, it immediately within 5 hours continued movement. ON TWO OCCASIONS. He then promised no matter what time it made it to the post office if before 6pm, he'd send a truck out to have it delivered to me.

“I’ve only been to the Glen Head post office twice, but both times have been such a joy thanks to Kareena. She is cheerful, helpful, and has a wonderfully talkative attitude that truly brightens my day. She manages to take the “chore” out of running an errand and turns it into a genuinely pleasant experience.
I live several towns over, but from now on, I will make the trip to this specific post office simply because of Kareena. She’s such an asset—not just to the Glen Head post office, but to every customer she interacts with. Highly recommend coming here if you want excellent service with a smile!”
