We've had Crossman's tow our vehicles a few times via AAA roadside. They were awesome every time, so when we needed help getting our lawn tractor out of the ditch, I called Crossman! They were here in a jiffy and had the mower up and back in the yard before I even got outside. A quick job for them meant the world for us - and at a very reasonable fee!Thank you Crossman Towing for being a service we can count on :)Service: Special vehicle towing

I have worked in the auto-industry for 2 years now. This was by far the worst towing experience I have ever had. I hit a deer near the Adirondack park. It was getting dark and the hazard lights weren't working on the car and to keep the road safe we called the police to send out a squad car to keep their lights on. The officer waited for the tow to arrive. The time it took them to get to the scene was pretty reasonable. Turns out they sent two teenage kids who very obviously had never done this before. The kid was on his phone with his father getting instructions on how to operate the flatbed. After about 30-45 minutes of the kid struggling to get the car to move he told the officer that he called his Dad back and was having him come out because they couldn't figure out how to get the car on the bed. ANOTHER 45 minutes later the father showed up and was able to load the car up in 10 minutes. Here's the really fun part. The officer wrote the kid a ticket because he was legally able to operate that type of vehicle. He had a Missouri license. Even in Missouri he isn't authorized to operate a flatbed. So he definitely isn't allowed to operate in NY. Long story short the officer gave the kid a ticket. And it gets even better. The father refused to tow my car where I wanted it and told me either he brings it to his shop or he'll put it right back on the Fu***** road and I can call someone else. At this point it was almost 1am (accident happened at 8:45pm) He towed it to his shop just to have it towed to my corporate office the following day. (Basically double charged me plus hit me with a daily storage fee). They also charged me for the time it took for the father to come out to the scene after his kids couldn't figure out what they were doing. Total bill came out to $1107. Total rip off. No wonder their ratings are as low as they can get. They should reconsider staying in this industry.
