Excellent sales department (Phil) and Service department. We bought a used BMW and 3 days later it needed a headlight. They got us right in and took care of it (as they should and we expected). So far - so good, and we appreciate the professionalism.

I had a very pleasant experience buying from BMW of South Albany. Johnny Wang from Sales made this remote purchase much easier than i had anticipated. From initial photo/video assessment of the vehicle, to negotiation, shipment arrangement, and even addressing some post-delivery issues, Johnny has been nothing but professional in his responses and willingless to make things happen for my benefit. This 10 years old M3 needed some interior and rim reconditioning, and Johnny advocated on my behalf to get those repairs approved by management. He even requested a re-do on a leather repair job before i had a chance to ask because it didn't meet his personal standards. He is a car enthusiast at heart and it shows. Give Johnny a call if you are looking for a new / used BMW, he will take good care of you.

Purchased a 2019 BMW x5 just before Christmas. Drove 3 hours to see the car with the packages I was targeting. The initial experience was great, the salesman Ammar was very courteous and took ample time to discuss the vehicle's features. He ensured that I was able to drive the car back the same day.While driving the car back I noticed that the massage seat was not working properly and the sill plate on the lower tail gate was broken but I wasn’t concerned since I bought it from BMW dealership, thinking everything will be taken care of since I just bought it and this was not any ordinary used car dealership. However when I called the sales person after Christmas he mentioned he’ll discuss it with the sales manager and get back to me. He called back shortly after and said that this is all cosmetic and they can’t address anything. Very disappointing that they did not take responsibility for any issue with the car, they are no different than a used car dealership and there is absolutely no benefit of buying a used car from BMW, especially this dealership.

Service department is absolute garbage, had a rattle, not only are they unable to find it they gave the car back with interior panels hanging off the side of the car, they were too lazy to even put the car back together. The manager then got mad when I told the GM I didn't trust him and his quality and I complained to BMW.Keep in mind this was a brand new car with less then 1000 miles on it. For what its worth service did not even do the delivery programing correctly, I had to go back to have them fix that too.If your going to reply do not use a canned response about talking to the GM already talked to them.

Recently purchased a vehicle from South Albany BWM. Our Sales Rep, Phil Jordan was outstanding to work with through the purchase. For example, when we went to pickup the car, and AFTER we signed the paperwork, we noticed it was missing a small center cap on one of the wheels. Phil said he would take care of it. Sure enough, the next day he had the part and installed it for us on what was supposed to be his day off! Exceptional experience - highly recommend Phil.

Tried the on line chat to get to solve a problem. 4x I requested for help, 4x I was told someone would help, 4x no response at all. Called the service center. Person sounded tired and unmotivated. Explained the issue I was having trying to get my Apple Car Play to work again. He gave me a list of things to do, all of which I tried. At that point he said, call Apple. Called back to try and talk to the manager. Sales person answered. Told me the same thing the service manager did. Said to bring the car back to where I bought it (purchased used). Horrified that they disavowed themselves from trying to help, since I did not buy the car at this dealership. I am still trying to find out how to sync my apple car play on a $60K car. I have never dealt with such total complacency in my life. Very disappointed at the complete lack of interest. I'm sure if I called tomorrow to buy a car, or spend $1,000 for repairs, they'd treat me like gold. One thing is for sure, I certainly would have no reason to buy a car from them at this juncture. I would be embarased if I was the either the manager of this organization or owner. Then again, perhaps therein lies the problem.....lets see if we get any form of response to his whatsoever. If we don't it will speak volumes of exactly what they are all about.....and don't leave the normal response, " We are sorry about your experience, but if you call us, we will try to resolve!" In other words, lets take this off line so the whole world doesn't have to witness us blow you off a 5th time. Shame. Notice on the reviews how happy everyone is who buys a car:) Then notice what happens when they bring it back for service:( Great people to buy a car from, then they run and you're on your own. The more I read, the more disgusted I am that a company like this is allowed to operate in this manner.

Having heard positive remarks about the BMW IX, I went to BMW of South Albany, located at 617 Rte 9W, Glenmont, NY 12077. The initial part of the experience was good. The salesman assigned to me was courteous, took ample time to discuss the vehicle's features, and even offered me a test drive. Post the test drive, I was furnished with all the necessary price details.However, upon expressing that I wasn't planning on making a purchase that very day, intending to explore other vehicles prior to settling on a decision, the experience took a sour turn. While the salesman was understanding, he mentioned he'd have to discuss this with the sales manager, Jay Seely.To my shock, Jay Seely approached us not with understanding, but with overt condescension. In an incredibly sarcastic tone, he wished us luck, proclaiming, "BMW is not for everyone." I had conveyed that I wasn't immediately looking to finalize a purchase and was keen on weighing all my options. Jay Seely, with a smirk, remarked, I understand there's no rush when you're still driving a 2008 vehicle. He knew perfectly well that I was driving a 2019 Honda Pilot. This was a clear jab at my financial standing. Such a display of poor taste and judgment by Jay Seely not only reflected negatively on him but also on the the dealership and, by extension, the BMW brand itself.It's disappointing that a brand like BMW, celebrated for its luxury and quality, would employ a sales manager like Jay Seely who belittles potential customers. His behavior embodies the stereotypical, unsavory car sales manager image that drives potential buyers towards platforms like CarMax or Carvana.Jay Seely, unfortunately, cost the dealership a potential sale and undeniably tarnished my perception of the brand and its representatives. Should I consider a BMW in the future, I would certainly choose Keeler BMW at 1111 Troy-Schenectady Rd, NY-7, Latham, NY 12110 over this dealership.To put it plainly, this dealership, under the likes of Jay Seely, won't be getting any business from me. It's astonishing how a single encounter with someone like Jay Seely can deter a customer from a brand. He is the antithesis of what one would expect from a brand like BMW.

I did front brakes, pads, sensors, rotors and engine leaking/coolant system services on my car on 8/12/23. They said everything’s was took care of your services. Now, today 9/16/2023, engine coolant system issues come back. I compared rear brakes/pads original “bmw name tag on parts” that I did in different BMW location.Today, I noticed they puts non-original BMW parts on my brakes/pads with “no bmw name tags on parts” which they charged me original price for this services.This BMW South Albany services will lie you! Beware! Check original parts after services done!!!Engine issues never fixed! One of Service adviser said they will cost you another for this services!!! My concern is why did they lie and they said everything done! Never happened again!This company will eat your BMW services!!! Watch out!!! Stay away!!! Be alert folks!!!

Zero stars. Terrible experience buying a used car for our son at this BMW. They removed custom Weather Tech mat from the vehicle during the detail process after the purchase. The company will not return the mat or make it right. Stay away! Seedy operation!

Had some major engine work done on my older X6. Jeff in the service department was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. He kept me informed and made sure I had a loaner ready and waiting. Would highly recommend this place for service. Thanks again Jeff.
