Three weeks ago I had my doctors office send in a prescription for a medication, CVS immediately placed the prescription on hold due to "my insurance not covering it". ($12) but whatever, I was never notified of the hold, so went to pick it up two days later and was then told about the hold. I said I'll pay for it, and immediately the new story was "well we don't have it, we can order it and have it ready by Monday" (okay, sure). Monday rolls around, go to CVS, no prescription, "should be here in a few days, we will call when it's ready" (Fine whatever). TWO WEEKS LATER, On a Monday, I call "hey I never heard back about my prescription" I'm now placed on a 10 minute hold only to be told "yeah we can't get that". so what you've been lying for weeks regarding this "being on the way".Not to mention at this point I'm frustrated, I'm asking the normal questions like "what happened, why was I never notified, or, can you send it to another pharmacy. The pharmacist then said he will hang up on me because there's nothing he can do and it's not his jobI said that's fine, I can come down and we can discuss this in person and figure it out. Which he then took as a threat and told me to find a new pharmacy. No, I am not holding the fact that they can't get the prescription against them. It's not their fault. I am however holding their lack of communication, and ability to answer the phone within 30 minutes against them.
