Great small town bike shop! Called for a specific bike and color, they pulled it and tuned it while I drove over. When I got there I tried the size out to make sure it was the right fit and they were kind enough to pull another size to ensure I was taking home the right bike. Would be happy to work with them again in the future!

I brought my bike here for a tune up I asked for my wheels to be trued i had a noise from the crank area I was told the brakes needed adjustment and the chain needs to be replaced to so I said ok. Picked up the bike and went for a ride the the noise is still present the chain is loose the wheels did not get trued the back wheel is off center and the brakes failed the cable fell off causing me to crash not a very good experience I don’t think I will be returning here for service

Charged me 48.00 dollars to replace one bike wheel spoke on a rim that was off the bike and had the tire removed. The spoke is a couple dollars at most and takes at most five minutes to install. Way over priced.

I don’t know much about bikes, however I have these kids that wanted bikes that will last. Their Dad is the bike guy, and they were kind enough to talk to him via video as he wasn’t physically available to make it. Great customer service, knowledgeable and frankly- I love supporting a small business. Thanks for the experience! Will be back for myself!

Charged me $86 to replace a spoke which would be fine but I expected it to be tightened and balanced like it was supposed to be. It was just loosely put on and I could have done that myself... Obviously did not do it correctly. I could have done that and saved myself $86. Not my first bad experience with them either. They treat their customers with contempt. Definitely do not recommend.

I live in New Jersey and found this bike shop through the Giant web page. They were the closest shop to have the Giant bike I was looking for. I am glad I made the drive up to Joe Fix Its. This is my second Giant and there were a few issues with the bike after I picked it up. Sean and the guys were all very helpful and understanding in resolving the manufacturing issues for me. I was pleasantly surprised because I was obviously not a regular customer. The shop was busy during my visits and I felt they did their best to attend to everyone's needs. I have not been so lucky with other bike shops. I will strongly recommend this shop. -Jim

Stellar service from Norbert and the crew here. Visited on a Saturday in summer, their busiest time, and was accorded all the attention necessary to select the right bike. Honestly could not believe the huge selection of bikes here, the largest I've seen since moving to the Hudson Valley last year. Will definitely be back!

Been coming to this shop for over 40 years. Got my first hockey skates here, plenty of sticks, street-hockey blades, and lots and lots of bike stuff, service, and rentals. Visiting my parents in Chester this week, I picked up a bike on Craigslist to keep in their garage so I can ride the Heritage Trail while visiting. Figured I'd maintain the family tradition of going here for all things bike, and rode the trail to the shop intending to buy some spd pedals and bottle cages, etc.. Had a great breakfast nextdoor at Howell's and then rolled my bike in the front door of the bike shop. As I approached the service area, a rude little man appeared (on the phone), pointed to the front entrance and said "Back it on out, and come around back." I was about 15 feet from the service area and back door in the middle of his empty shop. I said nothing, and just looked at him, perplexed. He repeated, "Back it on out." No hello, no greeting, no explanation. Just "back it on out." I backed it on out alright, after giving him a piece of my mind for his lack of manners, and rolled on over to Orange County Bicycles, right on the trail and 17m on the way back to Chester. The young guys in there were welcoming and helpful in their very well appointed shop, encouraged me to roll my bike right in the front door (a bike allowed in a bike shop, go figure), and insisted on installing the pedals and bottle cages I purchased. Bonus points for the adorable and friendly shop pup. I had heard that Joe Fix Its had gone downhill in the past several years, but, was shocked at this level of blunt rudeness (so, NOT, Orange County). Very glad that they, finally, have some (superior, cordial) competition -

Super-helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff that clearly loves bikes. They were happy to let me test out a bunch of $2500+ hardtails at my own pace and with zero sales pressure, and were very forthright about availability and pricing. Although I ended up purchasing a bike elsewhere (from a brand they do not carry), I would recommend this LBS without reservation.
