I don't mind this location BUT, products are constantly placed in the wrong spot, and with incorrect pricing. I go there thinking I'm spending 10$ but end up spending 20$ plus because nothing is properly priced. Some things also say they're 1$ but they're not, they're like 5$.
Also, store is generally closed around 8 am and before 10 pm because the manager could care less, that's honestly probably why all of the prices are wrong.
There are two really nice women who work there but that's it.

Very rude staff. Tried lying to me telling me the drawers were shutdown two minutes before close knowing I was inside almost done getting my order.

Neat little place. Despite the name, it's a general goods store, not a dollar store. It's like a downsized grocery store with limited fresh (non-cooled) items. It's great for a quick trip for a common purchases.

This store is within walking distance from me, is pretty well stocked, and has awesome staff. Just check the sell by dates on stuff before you buy. I've gotten a couple of things that were past the date (by a couple of days) by accident. It happens 🤷♂️

It's nice to have a store by you for quick items, but you wouldn't want to use it as your main shopping center. Deceptive product pricing is used so you feel like you're paying the same as you would at a supermarket. But, when you look at the amount of product, that's the difference. Example, chicken tenders. Same exact tenders at Tops $10 DG $10. At Tops you get a 2lbs bag, at DG you get a 1.25 lbs bag. All with the same item, price, packaging, size of bag (very close) but the different amount of product.

The people that work at this Dollar General so far are friendly, helpful and very polite.

Love this store, it's set up beautifully and it's closer to where I live then tops. Prices & selection are also good. It's definitely one of the nicer dollar generals I've been in.As far as the employee situation goes, if you do some simple digging you will learn that the current store manager has been fired from two other jobs on the island for taking money from the company. At previous jobs she also had a habit of spending employees pay checks and then claiming she never got them, or taking a few of the hours they worked and not recording it properly and keeping that money for herself. Again I'm not sure of the exact paper work she had to do but she did get caught stealing large amounts of money over time from two different companies on the island. She tries set others up to take the fall for her so yes absolutely watch your back, keep your guard up if your considering a job at this location. She will make you feel important and like your a boss but in reality she just wants the paper trail linked to anyone but her for as long as possible.
