I had my blood drawn today, Friday, May 24, 2024, at Quest Diagnostics at 1738 Grand Island Blvd, Grand Island, NY 14072.
The employee there (did not give me her name) complained that I had too many orders from different doctors, and that it would take a half an hour and take time away for the people waiting. She was very rude and unpolite. There were about 15 vials taken and it was done in less than 10 minutes, so it did not take time away from any other patients. After she finished, I told her that there more than 10 vials which she previously mentioned that there were not that many. When I said that, she stopped putting a band aid on my arm and I had to remind her that I was bleeding. She was very rough while putting on the band aid.
As I was leaving, I asked to speak to the person in charge and she stated that there was no one in charge. Another employee came in and I asked to speak to someone in charge or the office manager and that employee stated that there was no office manager and no one in charge.
I would like to find out the person in charge of the lab so that I can make a formal complaint and receive an apology for the rude and harsh treatment, which created a lot of stress for me.

Wait time was acceptable, the blood draw was seamless. The person who drew the blood was professional but not at all personable, I felt like I was just a file number to her, and an annoying one at that.

Bobbi was excellent. Ive had very traumatic experiences in the past with nf quest, so my anxiety was at an all time high but Bobbi quickly turned that around! She was superb! This will be my new location ! Thank you again, Bobbi!

I have been going to this quest for years without any problems. Today I went and was greeted by an older lady who at first was nice. I had more than one lab sent over and when I got in the room I was missing one. It was not in the computer so I told the women that I did have a lab slip in my car and if I could run and grab it. She proceeded to throw my original piece of paper on the table as if I was wasting her time. (Mind you no one was in the waiting room). I asked if I should reschedule my appointment and she allowed me to get my paperwork after displaying an unprofessional attitude. I completely understand everyone has bad day I work in healthcare but I find it unacceptable to treat any patient the way she behaved.
Otherwise if I could request Fred or Savannah I would be totally willing to recommend this quest. They have always treated me with grace and kindness.

Stephanie went above and beyond what I expected. My first time ever going to a quest location so I was SUPER scared to get bloodwork done needles TERRIFY me, she walked me through the entire process, talked to me while it was being done and really took her time to make sure I was comfortable. Love her decor in her room too! Thanks again <3
