“One of the best orchards we’ve been to with the kids. Super family friendly with so many fun activities for toddlers and kids and even us adults! Kind of expensive for the bag of apples ($35 for the small bag) but the experience was great. The tractor/hay ride was one of the best we’ve ever done, the views are incredible and it’s a pretty long ride. The bounce houses were great, even the moms went on with the kids. Tons of fun and for a Wednesday there weren’t too many people there, so we could truly enjoy everything. HIGHLY recommended! We honestly stopped at an orchard a minute up the road initially but found out their orchards are only open on the weekends, which was a bit odd but maybe they don’t have enough apples for all the weekends if they are open all week? Who knows but we’re grateful it led us here because the other place didn’t have any of the bounce houses or fun activities. Will definitely be coming again, maybe even weekly for the kids 😂”
“Thompson's has the most varieties of apples I have ever seen! I tried so many different types and really loved how crisp and fresh they all were. It was hard to decide which were my favorites. The cider is really good. I highly recommend coming here during apple season!”
“Great time with the family. Be prepared for tons of walking and activities for the kids. Food and drinks were okay. Then you can end with a bit of shopping like plants, donuts, produce, dairy, meats, bread, pastries, coffee, cider....the list goes on. Come out and bring the family.”

“We’ve visited (too) many farms over the years, but Stuarts remains my absolute favorite!
It’s relatively small compared to the more popular ones which makes it so much easier to navigate with small children. No crowds, no lines, free benches, even though we visited on a Saturday. The orchard is beautiful, well maintained with bountiful produce. The bakery was mostly sold out, still, we managed to get the last apple pie and freshly baked apple cider doughnuts (delicious!). Cash only (or Venmo), no cards accepted. The best (read, most chilled) apple picking experience in the Hudson valley, even with toddlers!”
