I’ve been dealing with Great Neck Auto Tech for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed. Their team is staffed with ASE-certified technicians, and they deliver exactly the kind of honest, thorough service they advertise.
When I first met Val (the owner), his attitude set the tone: respectful, patient, and interested in solving the root problem—not just doing a quick patch. He explained all my options clearly, walked me through what needed to be done now versus what could wait, and never once pressured me. That kind of integrity is rare.
They handle everything: oil changes, brakes, suspension, diagnostics, tires (they carry Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal) — all under one roof. Their pricing is fair, their timelines are realistic, and they clean up after the work. I always leave feeling confident my car is safer and more reliable.
If you want an auto shop where you’re treated like a person, your vehicle is respected, and the owner actually shows he cares, I strongly recommend Great Neck Auto Tech (and Val). They’ve earned every one of these five stars from me.

After going to my regular mechanic for alignment and was told that they couldn’t get it straight and my Frame might have gotten bent after hitting a curb took it to Auto Tech they where able to get it to aligned properly and found no other damage to my car

When you get service, you get it done correctly and you get your list taken care of. You will not be taken for a ride Val the owner is one of the good guys.

I have known Val for over 30 years. He’s the only auto mechanic I trust without question. If he says the car needs a repair, it needs it and you know he has given you a fair price. The guys that work for him are friendly and knowledgeable. I travel from Flushing.

Great staff. They really know what they are doing. Came in cause my oil filter blew up and leaked all my oil a day before my vacation. They were able to fix it up and I was able to bring my car for vacation. If you looking to get your car repaired right this is the place you need to go.
