Don't waste your time with any safelite. if you open any glass claim they will do whatever it takes to waste your time and not do your glass. the excuse they made at this location is the rep told me i need to calibrate my front lane assist in order to replace my windshield in order for them to calibrate the front lane assist again after they change the windshield and switch over. Overall moral for them is if you're not coming out of pocket they don't want to do any service for you. also they said they will leave my car out in the street with my keys in it to pick up cause they got to go home and my car got to go, which they actually did....

Had to wait 10 days for appt, took day off from work, get an email day before appt that they cancelled. No explanation no way to call them. Horrible service.

Great service. I had to drop my car off because there the next on-site service was weeks out. Don't believe the commercials where they come to your house or a parking lot where you're forced to park b/c your windshield was smashed. It was very simple to set up an appointment via text. I was kind of bummed to learn that my job would take much longer than I was originally told. I was informed by someone that my front passenger window would only take 30 - 60 mins and that I could wait in their waiting room. So I drove my car to their Great Neck location and found out that the job would actually take 2 - 3 hours. Had I known this was the case, I would have had my wife follow me in her car. Instead I had to Uber it home and wait for a text. The window was professionally installed a day after it cracked so I'm pretty happy with the service. This was the 2nd time I used SafeLight in 12 years. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends even after the miscommunication.

Avoid the Great Neck location. Arrived 25 minutes late after calling to advise I was having a delay and had driven way past store. The rep behind the desk Craig, was very rude, he said I had not called and could not have the work done. I then had to pull out my phone and show him I had called twice. He then replied, "I'm not buying your excuse".... His belligerence was beyond a normal customer service conflict and realizing something is a little off with him, I asked to have the piece sent to another store Safelite store just to avoid interacting with him because he lacked competence, professionalism and was rambling on and on. He said he could not have the piece moved;"....yea... we don't do that..." So, I left, went to my car called my insurance company who conferenced the call with Safelite's customer service line. They called "Craig" and directed him to have the piece moved to another location for me to go to later in t

Replaced broken glass and did a lousy work. Calibration was not done correctly. Come in to recalibrate and was told that they don't see an issue. I explain again the issue and when I start questions in order to understand and make sure the worker understands the issue he start to get aggressive and nasty. I ask to speak with the owner and he said he is the owner. When I asked for name, he refused. Don't go there. I saw few guys when I replaced the windshield coming with issues.I guess I will have my dealer calibrated it again and I will have Safelite pay for this recalibrating invoice. Waste of time!

I went last Saturday, June10, to this location. The receptionist as well as the technician were personable, efficient and professional.Diego the technician did a great job in putting back the registration and emission stickers to the very same spot where I wanted to - the very same spot location where he removed it from the broken windshield he replaced.

I was traveling out of state and was fortunate to find Safelite Great Neck. Craig the customer service representative was professional, patient and very helpful! Will def come back again!

I went for my appointment and the employee that received us was extremely rude when we made the mistake to pull slowly on the driveway. After we moved our car to the street in order to go to the office we explained there’s better ways to approach customers and obviously since he has poor costumer service he kept an attitude which we decided to ignore. After visiting the office to start the process of changing the glass, employees spoke in between them and decided not to change my glass making excuses they wasn’t able to do it. Taking into consideration I had a confirmed appointment for my car, I don’t really think this should happen. I drove 45 minutes to this location, which it’s frustrating that just because an employee was not respectful enough with the customers, they decided not to provide the schedule service. I wouldn’t like anyone to go through this awful situation with such a big company. Managers should be more on top of this incidents.

They did a great and efficient job on my windshield and drivers window. Super clean and comfortable waiting area with bathroom, tv, coffee, water. Just adding my technician was Moreno! Friendly service - highly recommend this shop. Only confusion was my gps said they were on the opposite side of the road. Thanks so much gentlemen - you’re awesome!!

I took my sons 2020 Sonata in for a cracked windshield and waited several hours due to the proper calibration to the lane departure feature....the staff was very professional and the man at the front desk was very informative and a great conversationalist which is great for customer relations.They had a nice little free coffee set up with television and I must say, the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen in the automotive industry......all in all, my experience was great, time flew and it was done. They have a very polite and professional staff, I highly recommend this location...It's also in a beautiful location.Mike D'Elia
