Still having issues with car , and their sales advisor emailed me to purchase a new car. I'm still waiting on a response from my advisor !!Spoke to advisor Giuseppe, he stopped returning my messages .Every-time I call this location it goes to voicemail .Will follow up with corporate .

Just finished some repair work at the northern blvd service department and it has really shown me how HORRENDOUS this service department location in (great neck) is in comparison.John K service advisor and the manager at this location should really go take some lessons on customer service skills from Marco and his team at Northern.I wil NEVER come back here. I am truly disgusted with their inability to return calls and how they cover for each others lies.

I feel bad because the way you answered the phone was insincere.She found out that your English wasn’t good enough and scolded the baby. I’ve been going here for 5years, and it was the first time I felt uncomfortable.

EDITED TO ADD: the car was sitting in the service station parking lot without being checked at all. So manager- thanks for your useless response and for holding my car hostage for 3 days without the courtesy of a call.I’d leave less stars if I could. I dropped my car off Friday morning for a service appt. Only add on to the original appt was an oil change which they said was fine. They told me it may be held overnight but I’d get a call. Three days and 6 voicemails later I picked my car up without any work being done to it. The service rep apologized and said that they had been backed up but apparently a phone call is too much. Not only was this inconsiderate of my time, my families and the many people I had to inconvenience to get around for an entire weekend with two toddlers but it was a waste of my time. They had the nerve to ask if I’d like to schedule a car pick up “at my convenience” as if I didn’t leave an appt and arrive on time at my convenience only for them to inconvenience me and leave me wondering what was happening for three days. I guess the one star was earned since at the very least they didn’t claim to have done stuff and over charged me as many other reviewers have claimed.

Great experience, very nice staffs, they offered me free Lyft to my work place and drop off my Loaner 2nd day since the loaner didn’t return back to their parking lot when I drop off my car, great service.

Totally disastrous, John Kunar maybe he is disheartened with his occupation. He has forgotten his smile hope its not the working condition. Maybe he is over worked. I cant pinpoint what it is. I firmly believe the customers should be greeted at least with a smile if they cannot offer the best of care for the vehicle or the customers. However, the facility is well maintained, its clean, coffee and snack bar are available in plenty. I purchased VW and I have come to the service center to address the vehicles needs and if its not its not a place to bring your vehicle.

Service advisors refuse to call back respectable customers. Customers such as myself who have had to take a significant time out of my life to bring a BRAND NEW car to that service center 6x In as many months. I didn’t want to leave this review but finally felt it was time after having John K. not call me back after telling me he would and leaving him at least 5 messages. I also requested for a manager of any kind to call me and they don’t. The last thing I want to do is write a negative review about ANYONE. I tried to hold back but this service center is shot. Ppl work their butts off to afford a VW. They are promised professional service and this is what they get in return. I see all the other reviews so I guess it’s not just me. My lawyer was informed in case anything happens To this car due to service’s negligence

If you order online, they will not email you a confirmation or receipt. Or communicate with you that the part is ready for pickup or not. You must call and deal with an attitude on why you don't have an order number. They don't seem like they know how to manage a website or a service center. Avoid.

Wow ? i have never been treated so poorly at this Volkswagen ever until today. I came in to pick up my car just to feel like a mockery Giuseppe coppola i was ignored by this advisor who was supposed to help me. instead he said he is going on a test drive to his colleagues who were also confused because he had a customer waiting to pick up their car they told him.I was there waiting on him. They told him i was there to pick up the car.?Instead of him helping me and to reassure me as his customer give me advice to what is needed for the car he ditch me to go on a drive with his friends. While giggling as if i was not there waiting at all?Service was still very open i just want to mention that.What’s worst he told me my car would be ready by 2:00 pm and he’d call.A call that never happened untilI decided to call by 4:30 pmGiuseppe Coppola Should not be an advisor! He doesn’t care about his job nor the customers he serves.Im so angry i could rant all day so much went wrong today. Sad that his colleague had to apologize for his unprofessional behaviorThank you Darien for being so kind to me today made me feel human and not like i was disposable.I wish this went differently!I will never come back to bayside Volkswagen again nor purchase a car here. Will advise my friends as well.If the service department is this bad there’s no point on doing so.

Waiting for a part to arrive for 2 weeks now. Car is 2 years old and basically sitting there unusable. Meanwhile I'm still expected to make payments. No loaners offered. Service does not respond to messages. Have to get VW North America involved. Do not buy VW. They don't have the personnel or parts to service their vehicles.

Absolute worst. Reps try their best but don’t follow through on basic promises. I will never purchase another Volkswagon in my life. A recall took 2MONTHS TO REPAIR!!!!! and communication was lacking. When I picked up the car the basic services I requested were completed. They expect everyone to lower expectations and the question is WHY!?!?!? Finally, I would never recommend purchasing a VW, especially not the EVs. Also personal items are missing from the car.

This is the worst service station I have ever been to. Definitely won't come back here again even if it's an emergency. I am not surprised to see so many bad reviews on both Google and Yelp. I wish I could have read more before coming here.First of all, I can't believe a very rude, unprofessional, unhelpful and dishonest person can be a service advisor here. I really don't expect all the "maybe", "we don't know", and "probably" answers when I need to leave my car with them. Also, some repair information should be provided after my maintenance here, the advisor told me, "you didn't ask." Okay... and I think it's alright if you forgot to call or my car was ready later than the promised time. Instead, the advisor lied about the calls and the time to make everything the customer's problem while my receipt clearly says otherwise.Second, if you call the dealership to make an appointment, it would tell you that the easiest way is to make it online. Yes, you can make your appointment any date and time you like as long as it says available and specify the service you need, but they wouldn't tell you they don't do those services everyday. You are free to leave you car there and don't know when you can get it back. No loaner car would be offered even if your car is under warranty. You are basically just scheduling a "drop off" time not the service time.The appointment is not always available. When you finally manage to get one, you can waste more time going there, the receptionist still check you in and tell you nothing but wait in there. After 40 mins of waiting just for someone finally come and tell you they don't do this today and "maybe" next week but not sure when it will be done. If you wonder why you have specified and described the survive you need as it required when you made this appointment or have asked them to contact you but no one would ever call you, a simple answer from my service advisor is "we don't check. We only have someone print it out in the morning." and "now you know."Besides the awful customer service and appointment system, their diagnosis is also somewhat questionable. Just 3 weeks ago, I was here for maintenance and inspection. They told me I must replace all 3 wiper blades at the cost of $135 or $150 or I can't pass the inspection, I declined. 3 weeks later, I went in for shock replacement, completely forgot about the wiper blade issue they told me and asked them to do the inspection again since it's the end of the month. My same car, with the same wiper blades, at the same service station magically passed the inspection without any problem.Service: General repairs & maintenance
