Made an appointment for an inspection but because 4 people were sitting in the parking lot before me waiting for the doors to open, they were taken before me and now I’m told two of them are getting inspections so they will get to me when they can. What’s the point of booking a reservation if walk ins are given priority?? I’ll be taking my business elsewhere now.

In Mid-December I took my wife's 2019 Chevy Trax for an inspection and oil change. I got a call from the shop telling me I needed two new front tires and I needed to replace my front struts, front linkages and rear shocks. I told the person on the phone not to do the work as all that was covered under warranty and would take to dealer to have fixed at no charge. A few minutes later, the same person called me back to tell me they had misunderstood the mechanic's notes, and that the only needed the two tires. Since this is a AWD, I asked him to quote replacing all four tires. He quoted all upper end tires. I told him this was a secondary car and I would like a economical tire. I was told they didn't stock those (at a discount tire store) and it would be a three day order. I picked up the car and took it to a competitor who could not sell us new tires as my rim lock key was over torqued and stripped. And advised I take the car to a dealer to have locks cut off. I had just used the rim lock key 4 weeks prior, it was in working shape. I will NEVER return to Mavis or Cole

About 3 weeks ago, I took my vehicle in for a slow leak in one of my tires.
Luke one of the service managers went out and look at the tire, he said; I
had a nail in my tire. When I bought the tires from there a few years ago. I
thought that I had purchase the road hazard warranty. Don the other service
manager said; I had not purchased the warranty on that tire and it would be
$30.00 to fix the tire. Then he told me if I do a review on the Mavis review
sight, he would fix it free. So, I gave them a nice review.
When I left there, I notice the tire sensor light was on in my vehicle. I
drove it for a few days. Thinking the light would go off, it did not go off.
After a few days I decided to check the air pressure in that tire. The guy
that worked on the tire had put over 50 pounds of air in the tire. I let air
out to the correct pressure which is 32 pounds.
A few weeks later the pressure in that tire went down again and he left
black stuff on my rim.

New review! Follow up from me going to Mavis on December 2023. I go in today January 18, 2025, because I need an inspection sticker I dealt with Mike in the past and he’s been great ! So today they tell me I need two brand new wipers. I need four brand new tires and I need brakes all around. I go to Auto advance when I left there because they failed my inspection to get new windshield wipers, even though I just replaced one of them a month ago. Auto in advance wouldn’t even sell me wipers because I didn’t need them. I took my car back to the original mechanic who put the brakes in not even six months ago he told me I do not need new brakes at all in the front or back nor do I need new rotors , the only thing I needed was a backlight for my break and new tires because Mavis tires suck. And no I’m not mad because it didn’t pass. I’m mad because they tried to get over on me. I’m glad that I have people who are honest that I dealt with after leaving there. Originally when I went there last year I dealt with Mike, who sold me a dream that he was going to give me good tires, but their tires no matter if you buy cheaper ones or expensive ones they don’t last longer than a year , I called and spoke to Dominic and told him to remind me of what needed to be done to pass inspection and I reiterated that all the things he told me minus the tires did not need replacing and he hung up on me. You guys have a great new store manager over there , he needs to get a life. Then two people come in and tells them they need two new tires And sell them the cheapest tires which they did to me for $795 not including the alignment. then a guy calls and asked if he wants brakes on his car how much it would cost and they told him $450 or more each break in the front. I advise anybody if you don’t need just an oil change stay away from Mavis on W. Ridge Rd. they are out of pocket your money and I’ve heard it from previous employees. They up charge you and then bring the price down a little bit acting like they give you a discount and then they pocket the rest of the money bad for business now my previous experience with a man who no longer works there , he was good when I was standing there, come to find out he didn’t give me the tires that he told me, but he still was very good customer service wise You get rid of Dominic , Mike who is a smart ass And looks like he’s five years old. And you assistant manager because he acts like he has no clue. it’s so sad we still live in a society where people try to take advantage of women and think people are stupid. Don’t try to charge me for stuff that I just had fixed on my car and then when I said, can I see the brakes he’s gonna tell me you can’t go in the garage and then bring me the only tire that I’ve been complaining about since day one to them.
Went into Mavis today 12/23. I spoke to Mike because I was having some issues with my tires that I had gotten almost a year ago. When I came into Mavis to get new tires I didn’t have the best experience as I did today! There was a few issues when I first got the first set of tires back last year but one thing I will say is Mike has made my opinion about Mavis and even wanting to purchase new tires again after a year , change in a matter off a smile and the first few minutes into our conversation! What a different experience! If there was more people like Mike, in the auto industry, it would make it easier for people like me and others who don’t know much about cars. He took his time to explain everything to me. He updated all my information that was totally incorrect in the system and made sure that I checked the paperwork to ensure everything was correct this time. Unfortunately, Mike wasn’t the person I dealt with a year ago and I wish it had been and I’m glad to see his happy face at 8 AM in the morning, Smiling, joking, not miserable like most people who wake up at 8 AM to come into work. Thank you Mike for being the best part of Mavis. Overall, if I could say anything, you guys have a great team, there with Mike and I was truly honored!

Fast and efficient. Great tires prices. Friendly staff. My only issue would be that they didn’t use floor mats and got the carpet dirty with shop grime. But it’s winter so it’s not a huge deal.
